It’s actually an apartment-style accommodation, which means you get way more space than you’d expect for the price. The building itself is modern and clean, though don’t expect any fancy lobby or concierge service.

Location & Getting Around

The Bicocca area gets overlooked by a lot of tourists, but that’s actually what makes it interesting. You’re about 20 minutes from Milan‘s city center by metro, and honestly, the trade-off is worth it — you get to see how locals actually live. There’s a Carrefour supermarket just down the street, which is perfect since you’ll have kitchen access. The Zara metro station is walkable, connecting you straight to the historic center.

The Space

What surprised me most was how spacious this apartment actually feels. Three bedrooms means you can spread out, and the kitchen is properly equipped — not just a mini-fridge situation. The living area has this practical, no-frills vibe that works well if you’re planning to actually use the space rather than just crash there. Each room is clean and functional, though the décor won’t win any design awards.

Practical Details

The parking situation is straightforward, which anyone who’s driven in Milan will appreciate. The wifi works reliably, and there’s decent water pressure in the shower — small things that matter when you’re staying somewhere for more than a night or two. You know what I really liked? Having actual counter space and a proper dining table where you can plan your day over coffee.

  Nice and calm place within 15 min walking distance to a metro station and the University of Bicocca campus. Easy shopping opportunities at Eurospin or Carrefour located across the street.

  Struttura nuova ed estremamente pulita, con tutti i confort. Ci si sente davvero a casa. Comodissimo il grande Eurospin proprio di fronte e il Carrefour a pochi passi. Gentilissimi i proprietari, sempre a disposizione per qualsiasi necessità e/o chiarimento. Consigliatissimo
  
  What could be improved: In realtà mi è piaciuto tutto, ma direi che la Struttura è più comoda per chi si reca a Milano con la propria autovettura (o ne noleggia una) perché non si trova al centro città. Piuttosto comoda per chi deve andare all'Universita' Milano Bicocca o al Teatro degli Arcimboldi (4 fermate di autobus)

  Posizione ottimale per collegamenti e prossimità con supermercato. Materasso in lattice. Fornelli ad induzione. Ottima pressione dell’acqua, zona residenziale tranquilla.
  
  What could be improved: La camera presentava polvere accumulata sulle coperte, che hanno causato una risposta in termini di starnuti e tosse. Alcune scelte di arredamento sono pressoché paradossali, come un enorme tavolo in camera da letto che altro non fa rendere difficoltoso l’utilizzo della camera stessa. Inoltre vi era un solo cuscino pur essendo matrimoniale, per cui abbiamo provveduto a recuperarne un altro dalla cameretta, che aveva un forte odore di polvere anch’essa. Una delle abat-jour presenti in camera da letto presenta il portalampada staccato dal corpo, per cui è molto pericolosa e non è stat utilizzata in quanto potenzialmente pericolosa. In tutta la casa sono presenti piante che rubano spazio di utilizzo al mobilio (se ne contano a decine all’interno dell’appartamento, persino in bagno). Mancavano un cestino per la pattumiera in bagno e uno in camera da letto. Assolutamente bizzarra trovo la mancanza di una moka o di una macchina del caffè a cialde/capsule, cosa che un bollitore non può compensare: dopotutto non siamo all’estero e può capitare di avere host italiani. Infine le decorazioni religiose presenti in casa erano decisamente inquietanti (vedi: cartolina “Il volto insanguinato di Cristo”) o brutte a vedersi (quadri). Il mio consiglio spassionato è dare una rinfrescata TOTALE all’appartamento, con una spesa contenuta potrebbe diventare davvero un gioiello.
