Via Vincenzo Forcella gives you this perfect balance — close enough to walk to the buzzing aperitivo scene in five minutes, but tucked away enough that you can actually sleep at night. The neighborhood has this authentic Milanese residential feel during the day, then transforms when the sun goes down and everyone heads to the canals.

The Space Itself

The room setup here is what really sets it apart from standard hotels. You get proper living space with a functional kitchenette — not just a mini-fridge and kettle, but actual cooking facilities if you want to grab fresh ingredients from the local markets. Getting Around

Here’s something that matters — the Porta Genova train station is walkable from here, which means you can actually get to the city center or even Malpensa airport without dealing with Milan’s sometimes tricky parking situation. Though if you do have a car, the area isn’t completely impossible to navigate. The metro connections work well too, and you know what? Sometimes it’s nice to take the scenic route through the neighborhoods instead of always rushing underground.

  A cozy, small apartment with a clean and comfortable bathroom. Relatively close to the center of Milan.
  The apartment doesn't get much daylight, but that didn't bother us because we were mainly there at night.
  Very nice host.
  
  What could be improved: The bed is comfortable, but it creaks too much. There is no electric kettle, or even one for the stove, also no mugs or glasses with handles for hot drinks.
  I think these minor imperfections can be easily fixed to make the apartment perfect.

  The place is so quiet and safe even during the night, well located near shops, restaurants and the subway(porta Genova & sant Agostina).. the apartment is located at the old town of Milan where it gives the beautiful feeling of living in the era of Leonardo da Vinci 😍🥰🥰.🐴 there's also the availability of all public transport.where it easy to get into the centre of Milan
