You’re practically next door to the ancient Roman columns of San Lorenzo — I mean, how often do you get to wake up with 1,600-year-old ruins as your backdrop? The building itself has that classic Milanese charm, nothing too fancy but solid and welcoming in that understated Italian way.

The Space

This three-star apartment really delivers on the “large” promise in its name. The room layout actually makes sense — there’s proper living space that doesn’t feel cramped, and the kitchen is functional enough that you could whip up a decent meal if you wanted to skip the tourist traps. The furnishings are clean and modern without trying too hard, which I appreciated after staying in places that go overboard with “design.”

Location Perks

Here’s what I really loved about the spot — you’re in Milan‘s city center, but it doesn’t feel touristy or sterile. The Navigli district is just a short walk away, so you can easily hit up those canal-side bars everyone talks about. Plus, the Duomo is close enough that you could walk there, but far enough that you’re not dealing with crowds of selfie-stick wielding tourists every time you step outside.

Daily Life

The neighborhood has this authentic feel that you don’t always get in city centers. There’s a proper local market nearby where actual Milanese people shop, and the morning coffee ritual at the corner bar felt genuinely Italian — not performed for visitors. Parking can be tricky in this area, but honestly, that’s Milan for you, and the public transport connections are solid enough that you probably won’t need a car anyway.

What sets this place apart is that perfect balance between central location and residential feel. You get the space and freedom of an apartment with the proximity to everything Milan has to offer. The ancient columns outside your window serve as a daily reminder that you’re experiencing something special — not just staying in another generic hotel room.   I liked the way of locking and unlocking the doors. Since we had an early flight on the day we were departuring it was extremelly easy to "leave the keys". Actually, the way of locking and unlocking the doors was with an online link which make it super comfrtable when traveling with friends and having an early flight. Additionally, the location was really good, not more than 15 minutes walk to Duomo.

  The location was close to Milan centre and everything we needed was nearby.
  
  What could be improved: A bit of a confusion about the location for the check-in. We got a message saying to go to a different address from the apartment and didn't know how to get there and changed all our transport plans.
  In the end the check-in was done at the actual property.
  All good in the end.

  Amazing location of the apartment, everything was close, we didn't even have to use public transport. We were really happy with the contact with the host. There is an amazing place for breakfast near the apartment.

  The property was spacious and clean and not too far from the city centre
  
  What could be improved: The plug in the bathroom were too small (but their was also in adapter for this in one of the rooms ) but before finding the adapter it was very annoying we you wanted to drain your hair. Also the door is code based (keyless) and this can be quite difficult to open at times

  There was no coffee maker, but there were coffee capsules but we had nowhere to put them, nor cleaning supplies.

  What could be improved: 2 bathrooms but only 1 had toilet paper. And it could use some bathroom rugs to avoid the floor getting wet after bath.

  What could be improved: My mum and i think lot off peoples will have problem to go in this apartament… all that is complicate and make normal peopels angry very stupid system to open doors and everything. Only this was big minus.
