BnButler – InBrera Suites – Giulianova, 1 Overview

First Impressions

BnButler – InBrera Suites – Giulianova, 1 sits right in the heart of Milan‘s most artistic neighborhood, and honestly, the location alone makes this three-star property worth considering. The building itself has that classic Milanese charm — you know, the kind with elegant stone facades that make you feel like you’re stepping into a local’s world rather than just another tourist trap.

The Brera Advantage

What I love about staying here is how you’re literally surrounded by the best of Milan’s creative scene. The Pinacoteca di Brera is practically next door, and those cobblestone streets are lined with galleries, antique shops, and cafés that actually serve locals — not just tourists with guidebooks. You can walk to the Duomo in about fifteen minutes, but honestly, you might find yourself wanting to linger in the neighborhood instead.

The area gets lively in the evenings too, with aperitivo spots that spill onto the sidewalks and that buzzing energy that makes Milan feel so effortlessly sophisticated. It’s the kind of place where you’ll stumble upon tiny wine bars tucked between art studios.

Your Space

The suites here are designed with extended stays in mind, which means each room comes with a proper kitchenette — and I mean actually functional, not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation. There’s enough space to spread out your shopping finds from the nearby boutiques, plus decent storage that makes living out of a suitcase less of a hassle.

The décor is clean and contemporary without trying too hard to be trendy. You’ll find good lighting for reading (something a lot of hotels get wrong), and the beds are comfortable enough that you won’t spend your vacation complaining about your back.

Practical Matters

One thing that surprised me was how helpful the BnButler team actually is — they seem to know the neighborhood inside and out and can point you toward things you wouldn’t find in travel guides. Need recommendations for where locals do their grocery shopping? They’ve got you covered.

The building doesn’t have some fancy restaurant or elaborate amenities, but that’s sort of the point. You’re in Brera — why would you want to eat hotel food when you’re surrounded by some of Milan’s best trattorias and wine bars?

Why Guests Love It

This place works because it understands what travelers actually want when they’re exploring Milan for more than just a quick weekend. You get the independence of having your own space with a kitchen, the authenticity of staying in a real Milanese neighborhood, and the convenience of being walking distance from major sights without the tourist circus atmosphere.

Sure, it’s not going to wow you with marble lobbies or room service, but it delivers on the essentials: comfort, location, and that sense of actually living in Milan rather than just visiting it. For the price point, especially in this neighborhood, it’s a solid choice that lets you experience the city the way it’s meant to be experienced.

Reviews of BnButler – InBrera Suites – Giulianova, 1

  • Comfortable room in a great central position – David from Australia – 27 October 2025 (8/10)

Location to Duomo of Milan was pleasant walk along old streets and shops, cafes etc. You could take several routes and if you got lost google maps sorted that. The "room" was as big as most hotel accom in Europe and a good size bathroom. With a standalone shower. Small fridge was there.

What could be improved: The room we stayed in was one of 6. They were all accessed via entrance gate then a main door which was locked. So key accessed. then each room had its own key. There is no reception or person to assist if needed. Email contact but not responsive. We reported a faulty ceiling light but this was not attended to within the 3 nights we were there. So we didn't use the set of lights that was attached to the faulty light. The booking offered room service if you put a tag on the door handle. This was nice and worked the second day. The third day they empty bin , straighten bed linen but didn't change the towels. We had, as we did the day before, left the towels in a neat pile when we left in the morning in the bathroom. When we returned at 10pm that night the towels had not been changed and were still in a pile wet as we had left them. So wet towels were all we had to use for the showers that next morning. So servicing the room is sketchy. All rooms are in a basement type area. So the window that opened to our room were on level with the street footpath. so when you opened the window you looked directly at the footpath and if the room's window blind was left up people could see into the room and the dust etc from the footpath and road could blow into the room . So we kept the window closed. The lower panels of the window were fostered glass but not the upper levels. Something to be aware of – as there is no reception there is no place to leave your luggage for the time you need before heading to airport. Therefore, you will need to find somewhere to store your luggage if you have a late flight as we did. It is possible.

  • Overall good experience – Giovanni from United Kingdom – 10 October 2025 (9/10)

It was reasonable priced good location

What could be improved: It was great but could have done with another pillow

  • Comfortable, clean, and good location – Eleanor from United Kingdom – 21 September 2025 (7/10)

The location was great, really close to the subway.

What could be improved: Had some issues with getting into the apartment and the customer service to sort this out was not ideal.

  • Convenient and comfortable – Elliott from United Kingdom – 5 September 2025 (8/10)

The location was amazing very central and easy to walk or get access to public transport
The room itself had everything you would need including a bidet

What could be improved: The door with the electronic keypad to get in was a little confusing to use
The bedroom window was on the street so the blinds had to be down nearly the whole time we stayed

  • Good – Eva from Australia – 31 August 2025 (7/10)

    Very clean and modern

What could be improved: Sometimes the street was a little scary to walk down as a lone traveler. But the security of the room was great and it’s a great location

  • Superb – Cazacu from Netherlands – 26 August 2025 (9/10)

Great location to have easy access to main touristic attractions and easy to get there from the airport by public transport.
Very clean and attention to details- there was a sleeping mask and ear plugs for each occupant.

What could be improved: Small room and at mid-underground level – so the windows were ar street level. That can make it noisy, considering the tram passing near by. However, not really an issue for a short stay and especially if spending most of the time outside to go sightseeing.

  • Superb – Hernan from Argentina – 29 May 2025 (9/10)

Amazing apartment and easy to access.

    What could be improved: Nothing

  • Easy access central, clean room. – Harriet from United Kingdom – 23 May 2025 (8/10)

Great location. Excellent check instructions. Clean. Good spec. Great extras (eg eye mask, coffee, nice shampoo).

What could be improved: Potentially a little noisy if you are sensitive to noise.

  • Enjoyable and relaxing – Elizabeth from Australia – 11 May 2025 (9/10)

    Good location.

    What could be improved: Nothing

  • Convenient and clean rooms. Very positive all in all – Patricia from Belgium – 4 May 2025 (8/10)

Superb location, very cleaned and serviced daily

What could be improved: We felt we were in a basement. Noisy with tram and street life at night and we could hear loud conversations in next door rooms.
