The bed was actually comfortable (not always a given in smaller European hotels), and the bathroom had one of those rainfall showers that makes you linger longer than you should. What struck me most was the attention to lighting — they’ve got it figured out in a way that makes the space feel larger than it is.

Practical Details

Breakfast happens in a cozy ground-floor space that doubles as a lounge area throughout the day. It’s not a lavish spread, but the coffee is proper Italian strong, and they do fresh pastries that beat most hotel chains. The staff speaks excellent English, which isn’t always the case in this part of town, and they’re genuinely helpful with restaurant recommendations. There’s no on-site parking, but they’ll direct you to a garage about three minutes away.

  Everything was perfect! The staff was kind and helpful and the room was big and clean. We also enjoyed the breakfast, it had everything for everyone’s taste. The hotels location was in a very nice area on the county side outside Milan. It was very easy to navigate from there with the public transport.

  Deluxe suit was renovated and great nice size of the room, comfy bed, quite place.
  
  What could be improved: The only thing was the breakfast was limited and we were asking for eggs, cheese and cups to pour the coffee everyday. I guess the quantity of breakfast shall consider as we paid in advance for the breakfast!

  The surrounding is remarkable. Quiet, full of green, beautiful garden with a small creek. The room's decoration was unique. And the room was big and spacious. We got a room in the first floor so there was an exit to a small inner lovely garden where we could sit and have some tea. Breakfast was good with a good selection and very fresh fruit that were cut that morning. The location is quiet and a little far from city center but if you have a car it's OK.
  
  What could be improved: Only two things – room was a little dark, not enough light and no reading light beside the bed. The toilet seat was a bit broken and was not fixed during our stay.
