Eurohotel Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Eurohotel on Via Sirtori, you’ll notice it’s tucked into a quieter street that still feels distinctly Milanese — those classic Italian apartment buildings with their shuttered windows and small balconies. The entrance is modest but clean, and honestly, that’s exactly what you want from a three-star place in Milan. The lobby isn’t trying to impress anyone, which I actually appreciate — it’s functional and the staff genuinely seems to care about helping you figure out the city.

The Neighborhood Reality

Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re in Città Studi, which means you’re close enough to everything without dealing with the tourist chaos around Duomo. There’s a Metro stop (Lambrate) about a ten-minute walk away that’ll get you to the center in maybe 15 minutes. The area has that authentic Milan vibe with local cafés where you can grab a proper espresso and cornetto without paying tourist prices. You know what’s great? There’s a Carrefour Express practically next door, which is clutch when you need snacks or water bottles.

The Room Experience

My room was small but thoughtfully laid out — typical European style where every square meter counts. The bed was comfortable enough, and the bathroom was recently updated with decent water pressure (always a win in older Italian buildings). Don’t expect anything fancy, but everything worked properly and it was genuinely clean. The air conditioning actually kept up during a particularly hot September, which honestly surprised me given the price point.

Getting Around and Practical Stuff

The hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant, but that’s not really a problem when you’re in Milan — half the fun is wandering around and finding places to eat. There’s parking available if you’re driving, though I’d question why you’d want a car in this city. The front desk staff speaks decent English and they’re helpful with directions and recommendations. I mean, they pointed me toward a fantastic aperitivo spot just a few blocks away that I never would’ve found otherwise.

Why Guests Love It

Look, Eurohotel isn’t going to wow you with marble lobbies or rooftop pools, but it does something more valuable — it gets out of your way and lets you experience Milan properly. The price is reasonable for what you get, especially considering you’re still technically in the city center. It’s clean, safe, and the kind of place where you can actually rest between all that walking around looking at churches and shopping. For travelers who want to spend their money on great meals and experiences rather than hotel amenities they’ll barely use, this place makes total sense.

Reviews of Eurohotel

  • Very clean, sterile hotel, with a neighborhood bar that plays loud music every night – James from United States – 2 November 2025 (7/10)

Location, it was clean, and exceptionally friendly staff

What could be improved: It had a very “sterile atmosphere”. There were no extras provided like we received in many other hotels like an in room water kettle for tea or coffee, soap, shampoo, Kleenex, paper slippers, or minibar in the room. The breakfast was only 10 euros but was only worth 10 euros. I would have rather paid the 12-14 euros as in other hotels and had a wider breakfast selection and variety.
When you arrive at the hotel be sure request a room that does not have windows that face the front street of the hotel because the next door bar plays very loud music every night until 11pm.

  • Good – Luc from Australia – 12 October 2025 (7/10)

    Great room and shower

What could be improved: The room was in a separate area with a window directly facing the street (at street level), which made it quite noisy at night as people were talking right outside. The main hotel has a double-door entry system—you can only enter once the first set of doors has closed—which seemed to frustrate some guests. I can understand the added security at night, but it felt a bit excessive during the day. These two points are the only reason hotel lost points in my review.

  • Clean and good location – Viktorija from United States – 28 September 2025 (8/10)

    Location

What could be improved: Bar close ..

  • Great facilities and close to the train. Beautiful building also – Mark from New Zealand – 19 September 2025 (8/10)

    Central to everything. Good value.

  • Loved the location – Armine from United States – 16 September 2025 (7/10)

    Location and staff

What could be improved: Room was too small, internet was not working

  • Good value option in a good location but no parking nearby. – Patrick from Ireland – 14 September 2025 (8/10)

Hood value for location, good restaurants, and bars nearby and they allow dogs.

What could be improved: Parking was far, and the hotel didn't tell me it was valet, I.e. you leave your keys.

  • Good – Cesar from Portugal – 2 September 2025 (8/10)

    Localization and environment

What could be improved: Loudness from the outside

  • Overall it was good. Everything was fine. – Ajay from United States – 27 August 2025 (7/10)

    Overall it was good.

What could be improved: They should offer bed and breakfast regardless of room rate.

  • Very good – Martin from United Kingdom – 18 August 2025 (8/10)

The air-con was a life saver especially in August.
Room a lot bigger than the photos show.
    Close to metro (Porta Venezia)
Close to local supermarkets for your basic suppliers.
    Close to restaurants.

What could be improved: No complimentary hair and shower gel.
Mini-fridge could be a lot colder.

  • Perfectly adequate – Idoros from Germany – 31 July 2025 (7/10)

Perfectly adequate, Hotel, but nothing to write home about
