The rooms at this three-star place are… well, they’re exactly what you’d expect, but in a good way. Clean, functional, with enough space that you’re not bumping into your suitcase every time you turn around. The air conditioning actually works (trust me, you’ll want this in summer), and the Wi-Fi doesn’t make you want to throw your laptop out the window. I mean, the décor isn’t going to win any design awards, but everything feels recently updated.

What I found really convenient — and this might sound silly — is that there’s a proper restaurant right downstairs. Not hotel food, just a regular Italian place that locals actually use. The staff there will point you toward other good spots in the area too. For parking, you’ll want to ask at reception because street parking around here can be tricky, especially during the week when everyone’s working.
