Here’s what I love about this spot: you’re perfectly positioned between two of Milan‘s most interesting areas. Bocconi University is literally around the corner, which means the neighborhood has this great student energy with cafes and affordable eateries. But then you can walk fifteen minutes south and you’re in Navigli, where the aperitivo scene is incredible along those historic canals. The metro isn’t exactly next door, but there’s a tram stop nearby that connects you to the city center pretty efficiently.

The Suite Experience

The room — well, suite really — is where this four-star property really shines. It’s spacious in a way that’s rare for Milan, with separate living and sleeping areas that actually feel separate. The kitchenette is compact but functional, which came in handy when I wanted to grab groceries from the local market and have breakfast in. The design leans modern with clean lines and neutral colors, though it could use a bit more personality if I’m being honest.

Neighborhood Character

What you’ll discover staying here is how residential this part of the city feels. You’re not surrounded by tourists — instead, you get to see how actual Milanese people live and work. There’s this great little restaurant called Osteria del Borgo just a few blocks away that locals frequent, and the morning espresso ritual at the corner bar becomes part of your routine. The area around Bocconi has that academic buzz during the day, but it quiets down nicely in the evenings.

Why Guests Love It

The real appeal here is space and authenticity. You get way more room than you’d find in a traditional hotel for the same price, plus that apartment-style living that lets you settle in properly. The staff is helpful without being overbearing, and they seem to genuinely know the neighborhood well. It’s perfect if you want to experience Milan beyond the tourist center while still having easy access to everything the city offers. Just don’t expect resort-style amenities — this is urban living at its most genuine.
