It’s spacious (ampio means exactly that), and honestly, being just a kilometer from CityLife is pretty perfect timing considering how that whole area has transformed. The building on Via Sebastiano Veniero feels residential in the best way, like you’re staying in a real Milanese neighborhood rather than some touristy bubble.

Location & Getting Around

You know what I love about this spot? You’re close enough to the action but not drowning in it. Milan‘s CityLife district is where all the modern architecture and business happens — those three towers everyone Instagrams are literally around the corner. But here on Veniero, it’s quieter, more authentic. The metro connections are solid, and I mean, when you want to hit the Duomo or Navigli for aperitivo, you’re not looking at some epic journey.

The Space Itself

This four-star apartment really delivers on the “ampio” promise — there’s actual space to spread out, which anyone who’s stayed in cramped European accommodations will appreciate. The kitchen setup lets you grab groceries from the local markets (there’s a decent one nearby) and actually cook if you want to save some euros or just feel more settled. The whole place has that comfortable, lived-in quality without feeling worn down.

The Neighborhood Experience

Honestly, this part of Fiera Milano – City Life strikes the perfect balance. You’ve got the sleek, contemporary vibe of the business district mixing with traditional Milanese residential life. Morning coffee at the local bars, evening strolls past those impressive towers, and easy access to both the trade fair areas and central Milan. It’s the kind of area where you can actually imagine living, not just visiting.

  Location is good, close to metro station, few nice restaurants around around.
  
  What could be improved: The property is not as shown in the photos. Many things are broken (such as the window shades and bathroom furniture). The ground floor has a large, nice terrace; however, the problem is that trash containers are located next to the building, which attracts rats. They literally run around the house in the evening! So please do not leave the terrace door open at night.
  
  The most disappointing thing was that the host tried to scam us — they requested an additional payment for broken toilet seats. Therefore, if you stay at this place, make sure to take photos of any damage you see (and there is plenty).

  The location was perfect – next to two metro stations, bakery, supermarket and the stadium where we particularly wanted to be close to. The rooms were extremely comfortable and my friends and I enjoyed the backyard where we stayed every morning and evening. Everything was perfect!!!

  Great place with flexible check in, a huge terrace and spacious rooms. Very friendly and helpful hosts. There's a super market near by and right across the street is a cute little coffee shop which serves great coffee and good italian breakfast/baked goods.
