You’re maybe a ten-minute walk from the Duomo, but more importantly, you’re surrounded by the kind of neighborhood cafés and local spots that actually make a city trip memorable. There’s this little bakery around the corner that does incredible cornetti in the morning — the kind of place you stumble onto when you’re staying somewhere real instead of a tourist bubble.

The Space Itself

The room setup works well for what it is. You get a proper kitchenette, which I mean, in Milan’s city center that’s actually pretty valuable when you want to grab fresh ingredients from the local markets. The WiFi does what it says on the tin — I had no issues working from there when I needed to. It’s not going to win any design awards, but everything functions, and honestly, that matters more than fancy fixtures when you’re out exploring most of the day.

What You Should Know

The 7.1 rating makes sense once you understand what you’re getting. This isn’t a place with a concierge or room service — it’s more like borrowing a friend’s Milan apartment for a few days. The neighborhood can get a bit lively in the evenings, which I actually enjoyed, but light sleepers might want to pack earplugs. Also, there’s no dedicated parking, so if you’re driving into the city, you’ll need to sort that out separately.

Why Guests Love It

What really works here is the location-to-price ratio and that sense of living like a local. You’re not paying premium rates for marble bathrooms you don’t need, but you are getting a legitimate base in one of Milan’s most central neighborhoods. I found myself using it more as a launching pad — grabbing coffee downstairs, walking to the Brera district for lunch, then coming back to decompress before heading out for dinner. It’s the kind of setup that lets Milan’s rhythm become your rhythm, rather than keeping you trapped in hotel world.

  What could be improved: For 5 days of stay, 2 towels were allocated: one micro for hands and the second for the body. They wrote off an extra 35€ for some incomprehensible insurance, when I checked in, they said that it was non-refundable, although it should have already been included in the price list. When asked to return the money, which was not registered anywhere, and even more so as non-refundable, I was refused. The intercom opens very simple – just to press the button,, but at the rings in the apartment, so apparently everyone knew about it and from early morning to 12 at night they opened the door through the intercom, I woke up several times at half past 7 in the morning because of this. I’m afraid to even imagine how many times they called during the day.

  Skvělá poloha, pěšky jsme chodili až k Duomo cca 20 minut. Pár minut od stanice metra i tramvaje. Hned vedle v ulici výborná místa na snídani a večeři, ve všech cenových kategoriích. Ráno a večer jsme využili i malou terase na příjemné posezení. V ubytování byl kávovar a pár kapslí na kávu, pár sáčků s černým čajem, základní suroviny pro případ vaření – olej, i olivový, sůl aj. Byly zde i tablety do myčky a do pračky, šampon v koupelně, velká lahev s vodou v lednici. Jednoduše zařízené, čistá koupelna. Měli jsme vše, co jsme potřebovali.
  
  What could be improved: Složitější check-in před příjezdem, kdy bylo třeba nahrávat fotky pasu a vyplňovat dost údajů, aby člověk dostal přístupový kód. Během tohoto procesu nám nešlo vyfotit obličej, ani fotku nahrát, to nás stresovalo. Požádali jsme písemně o pomoc a odpověď byla okamžitá.
  V den našeho příjezdu nebyla zcela čistá lednice, i ostatním částem kuchyně bych doporučila věnovat při úklidu více pozornosti, zároveň jsme kuchyň téměř nepotřebovali. Při spaní na pohovce v obývacím pokoji je potřeba počítat s hlukem z chodby domu a výtahu.

  Very quiet building and neighbors . Apartment closed to major attractions , 20 mins walk to the Duomo and EV gallery.
  
  What could be improved: When we arrive at the apartment ( around 4:30 PM) the cleaning was not yet done , even though check in was at 3PM. Around 3:15 PM we called the hostess in regards to how to get access in the apartment and she didn’t mention to us about the apartment not being cleaned and ready for us. Once we arrived and got inside the apartment, we found beds not made, towels thrown on beds, sofa and shower. Dirty dishes every where in the kitchen and dining table, pots full of food, sink full of dirty dishes. We took plenty of pictures to send to booking.com. To say we were shocked it’s an understatement. We called the hostess right away to inform her about the deplorable situation and she told us that in Milan was raining the whole day , the. cleaning person is very late and we have to leave the apartment for 1 1/2 hr so he can clean it. We told her that it’s absolutely unacceptable what happens and her answer was “ will return back to you the cleaning fee”.
  We had no choice but to leave and came back almost 2 hrs later. It was a very negative experience to say the least. We want to mention that we are WAITING for the cleaning fees to be refunded as PROMISED!!!
  That evening , we had to go and eat out , even though we didn’t have it in plan so it’s only fair to get the cleaning fees refunded .

  Firstly the customer service was excellent, always responding quickly by email to any queries and made the appartment available early so we could drop our cases off as we arrived lunchtime. Good security access to the building and coded entrance to the appartment with clear instructions provided. Comfortable twin beds and a good size sofa bed. Nice kitchen area and a lovely little terrace at the rear. Complimentary coffee and teas provided.
  
  Great location. In a quiet area even though there was a college opposite. Very nearby were a couple of small cafes, bar and mini markets and just a few minutes from a Metro station. Only 15 minutes walk from the appartment to the Duomo di Milano and its bustling square.
  
  What could be improved: There was nothing that me and my daughter didn't like but we would like to make a couple of recommendations:
  1. In addition to the green and flavoured tea bags kindly provided which we were happy to drink, we would recommend, if possible, that you also provide a few English/Breakfast tea bags.
  2. In addition to the long mirror for dressing on the wall next to the doorway in the bedroom, we recommend providing a mirror on the shelf area in the bedroom, or fixed to the wall above the shelf next to the picture. My daughter used the shelf area as a dressing table and it would have been ideal to have a mirror opposite when she was applying her make-up etc.
