[Cozy flat] – Monza 15 Overview

First Impressions

Cozy flat – Monza 15 sits on a busy stretch of Viale Monza, and honestly, the name tells you exactly what you’re getting. This three-star property isn’t trying to be anything fancy — it’s just a solid, no-nonsense place to crash in Milan. The building itself is pretty typical for this part of the city, but you know what? Sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

Location & Getting Around

Viale Monza is one of those main arteries that locals use to zip around the city, which means you’re well-connected but not exactly in the postcard-pretty center. The good news is you’re actually closer to some interesting neighborhoods that tourists often miss. There’s a decent tram line that’ll get you downtown in about twenty minutes, and I found the area surprisingly walkable once you get your bearings.

The street has that authentic Milan energy — busy during the day with locals going about their business, quieter at night. You’ll find proper grocery stores, neighborhood bars, and the kind of places where you can grab a quick espresso without anyone expecting you to linger and admire the décor.

The Apartment Experience

The apartment setup here is pretty straightforward. You get your own space with a small kitchenette — nothing elaborate, but it’s got the basics if you want to make coffee or heat up something from the market downstairs. The room feels lived-in rather than hotel-sterile, which I actually appreciated after staying in too many identical chain places.

Don’t expect luxury touches or Instagram-worthy interiors. The furniture is functional, the bed is comfortable enough, and the bathroom works fine. It’s clean and maintained, just not particularly stylish. Think of it as borrowing a friend’s place rather than checking into a boutique hotel.

Practical Considerations

The 7-point rating feels about right for what this place offers. It’s not going to wow you, but it won’t disappoint either if you set your expectations correctly. Parking can be tricky on this stretch of Viale Monza — it’s mostly street parking, and you’ll want to pay attention to the signs because Milan takes their parking regulations seriously.

The staff is helpful when you need them, though this isn’t the kind of place where someone’s going to anticipate your every need. They’ll sort out practical issues and give decent local advice if you ask, but the service style is more functional than fussy.

Why Guests Appreciate It

What works about Cozy flat – Monza 15 is its honesty. You’re getting exactly what’s advertised — a clean, basic place to stay in Milan without paying center-city prices. It’s particularly good if you’re planning to spend most of your time exploring the city rather than hanging around your accommodation.

The apartment-style setup gives you a bit more independence than a typical hotel room, and the location puts you in a real Milan neighborhood rather than a tourist bubble. Sure, you’ll need to take transit or walk a bit to reach the major sights, but that’s part of experiencing the city like locals do.

Reviews of [Cozy flat] – Monza 15

  • Superb – Liebon from Poland – 5 August 2025 (9/10)

    Towels for our family

  • Ideal for short stay for 2 (not long stay) – Saravana from United Kingdom – 6 June 2025 (7/10)

Very close to metro and many shops around. Secure place and definitely cozy.

What could be improved: It is good for short stay but the facilities are not up to the mark for longer stay. I was there for 4 weeks.

  • Pleasant – Ermin from Austria – 21 March 2024 (6/10)

The location and booking handling excellent!

  • Excellent location, easy to check in, super value for its money – Dennis from Poland – 28 November 2023 (7/10)

The check-in process is absolutely problem free – the host sent the detailed video how to find keys and apartment. To people who say that the were struggling to reach the lock box: OMG, you have to cross the street without stoplight! imagine that! life is so tough for you – buy yourself a helmet. This is Milan – people walk across the streets where they want, use common sense (if you have any). Another thing that I saw in reviews – LEAKING SHOWER – yes, the shower cabin leaks a tiny bit in the far corner, so what? The water is not in the way, i don't care. Another thing from reviews: "the water heater is so bad – I couldn't set the water temperature!" – jesus christ, if you don't understand how tankless water heaters work – thats your problems. I didn't have any problem with that.

What could be improved: There are several REAL problems with the apartment though, and I would like to point out that for the owner: 1) the apartment didn't have any tea, sugar or salt or dishwashing fluid+sponge or trashbags. So like you arrive and you have to go buy these necessities yourself. I left some supplies for next tenants! 😉 That sucks, man… Also, dirty fan in bathroom and broken lamp over mirror – c'mon man, thats 2023, thats unacceptable. Fix that stuff

  • Exceptional – Mihailo from Serbia – 30 October 2023 (10/10)

This is apartment with enough space and a spacious bathroom. Excellent location, especially if you plan to visit the surroundings of Milan, because the central train station is a 10-15 minute walk away, and the Loreto metro station is a 5 minute walk away. In the area you can find a lot of both fast food restaurants and classic restaurants. And for breakfast you also have bakeries nearby.

What could be improved: Noisy environment because the apartment faces a busy street.

  • Cozy and nearby station – Niqman from Malaysia – 4 October 2023 (8/10)

Location near to train station, halal restaurant and the room is clean. Facilities quite okay

What could be improved: AC was not functioning, space is quite small for 4 person.

  • Pleasant – Bogdan from Romania – 21 June 2023 (6/10)

The location of the apartment is close to two metro stations and a supermarket, with plenty of international (especially asian) restaurants nearby.
Hot water due to the boiler, clean sheets and towels.

What could be improved: The apartment is in need of renovation, it is showing its age , couch needs a good wash.
The bathroom needs cleaning such as the ventilation system which was full of dust.
The aircon didn't work, can be an issue in the summer time as the apartment can get hot. If you open the window, it can be noise due to the fact that it is located on a main bulevard

  • Too expensive for what you get – Paula from Austria – 9 May 2023 (6/10)

    The location was ok.

What could be improved: For me it’s unacceptable to find the keys on the middle of the street, literally on the middle of the car way. I think it’s too expensive for what you really get compared to the other hotels we stayed around Italy. The kitchen and bathroom were not fully equipped and they could definitely put more effort in terms of cleaning.

  • Very good – Eden from Italy – 23 February 2023 (8/10)

I like the apartment its nice and the heater is excellent..

What could be improved: No elevator

  • Very good – Maksim from Czech Republic – 17 February 2023 (8/10)

The perfect location. The room has everything you need.

What could be improved: Not clean enough, the shower needs repair. It is better to place the keybox in a safer place, because I had to run across the road in the wrong place.
