[Cozy flat] – Monza 15 Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to [Cozy flat] – Monza 15, you’ll notice it’s not your typical hotel setup — this four-star property feels more like staying at a stylish friend’s place in Milan. The building sits right on Viale Monza, which honestly took me by surprise with how well-connected it is to the rest of the city. I mean, you’re technically outside the historic center, but that’s actually what makes this spot work so well. The neighborhood offers a genuine slice of Milanese life without the overwhelming tourist atmosphere.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s what I really appreciated about the location — you’re close enough to reach Milan’s main attractions without dealing with the tourist crowds right outside your door. The Porta Garibaldi area is just a short metro ride away, and you know what? That makes all the difference when you want to grab dinner somewhere authentic instead of the usual tourist traps. There’s a good mix of local cafes and shops along this stretch of Viale Monza, so you actually get to see how Milanese people live day-to-day. The public transport connections are excellent for exploring the city.

The Space

The apartment itself feels thoughtfully designed — not cramped like some city accommodations can be. What struck me most was how they’ve managed to create a homey atmosphere while keeping everything modern and functional. The kitchen area is well-equipped enough that you could actually cook a proper meal if you wanted to, though with Milan’s food scene, why would you? The room has good natural light, which is something you don’t always get in urban properties, and the furnishings feel current without trying too hard to be trendy.

Practical Details

Storage space is better than expected — I could actually unpack properly, which always makes a stay feel more comfortable. The Wi-Fi works reliably throughout the space, and there’s decent parking nearby if you’re driving, though honestly, I’d recommend sticking to public transport in Milan. The building itself is quiet enough that street noise wasn’t an issue, even though you’re on a fairly busy avenue. Climate control works well, which matters more than you’d think during Milan’s humid summers or chilly winters.

Why Guests Love It

What really sets this place apart is how it strikes that balance between being in Milan proper while giving you some breathing room. Couples seem to particularly enjoy the setup — there’s something about having your own space that feels more romantic than a standard hotel room. The neighborhood has character without being overwhelming, and you’re close enough to both business districts and cultural sites that it works whether you’re here for work or leisure. It’s the kind of place where you can settle in for a few days and actually feel like you’re living in Milan, not just visiting it.

Reviews of [Cozy flat] – Monza 15

  • Superb – Liebon from Poland – 5 August 2025 (9/10)

    Towels for our family

  • Ideal for short stay for 2 (not long stay) – Saravana from United Kingdom – 6 June 2025 (7/10)

Very close to metro and many shops around. Secure place and definitely cozy.

What could be improved: It is good for short stay but the facilities are not up to the mark for longer stay. I was there for 4 weeks.

  • Pleasant – Ermin from Austria – 21 March 2024 (6/10)

The location and booking handling excellent!

  • Excellent location, easy to check in, super value for its money – Dennis from Poland – 28 November 2023 (7/10)

The check-in process is absolutely problem free – the host sent the detailed video how to find keys and apartment. To people who say that the were struggling to reach the lock box: OMG, you have to cross the street without stoplight! imagine that! life is so tough for you – buy yourself a helmet. This is Milan – people walk across the streets where they want, use common sense (if you have any). Another thing that I saw in reviews – LEAKING SHOWER – yes, the shower cabin leaks a tiny bit in the far corner, so what? The water is not in the way, i don't care. Another thing from reviews: "the water heater is so bad – I couldn't set the water temperature!" – jesus christ, if you don't understand how tankless water heaters work – thats your problems. I didn't have any problem with that.

What could be improved: There are several REAL problems with the apartment though, and I would like to point out that for the owner: 1) the apartment didn't have any tea, sugar or salt or dishwashing fluid+sponge or trashbags. So like you arrive and you have to go buy these necessities yourself. I left some supplies for next tenants! 😉 That sucks, man… Also, dirty fan in bathroom and broken lamp over mirror – c'mon man, thats 2023, thats unacceptable. Fix that stuff

  • Exceptional – Mihailo from Serbia – 30 October 2023 (10/10)

This is apartment with enough space and a spacious bathroom. Excellent location, especially if you plan to visit the surroundings of Milan, because the central train station is a 10-15 minute walk away, and the Loreto metro station is a 5 minute walk away. In the area you can find a lot of both fast food restaurants and classic restaurants. And for breakfast you also have bakeries nearby.

What could be improved: Noisy environment because the apartment faces a busy street.

  • Cozy and nearby station – Niqman from Malaysia – 4 October 2023 (8/10)

Location near to train station, halal restaurant and the room is clean. Facilities quite okay

What could be improved: AC was not functioning, space is quite small for 4 person.

  • Pleasant – Bogdan from Romania – 21 June 2023 (6/10)

The location of the apartment is close to two metro stations and a supermarket, with plenty of international (especially asian) restaurants nearby.
Hot water due to the boiler, clean sheets and towels.

What could be improved: The apartment is in need of renovation, it is showing its age , couch needs a good wash.
The bathroom needs cleaning such as the ventilation system which was full of dust.
The aircon didn't work, can be an issue in the summer time as the apartment can get hot. If you open the window, it can be noise due to the fact that it is located on a main bulevard

  • Too expensive for what you get – Paula from Austria – 9 May 2023 (6/10)

    The location was ok.

What could be improved: For me it’s unacceptable to find the keys on the middle of the street, literally on the middle of the car way. I think it’s too expensive for what you really get compared to the other hotels we stayed around Italy. The kitchen and bathroom were not fully equipped and they could definitely put more effort in terms of cleaning.

  • Very good – Eden from Italy – 23 February 2023 (8/10)

I like the apartment its nice and the heater is excellent..

What could be improved: No elevator

  • Very good – Maksim from Czech Republic – 17 February 2023 (8/10)

The perfect location. The room has everything you need.

What could be improved: Not clean enough, the shower needs repair. It is better to place the keybox in a safer place, because I had to run across the road in the wrong place.
