When I walked into this three-star apartment in Milan, the natural light flooding through those generous windows made the whole space feel twice as big as I expected. What I appreciated most was how clean everything felt, not that sterile hotel clean, but like someone actually cares about the place.

Location & Getting Around

Via Carlo Freguglia isn’t one of those streets tourists typically know by name, but that’s actually a good thing. You’re solidly in Milan City Centre without being right on top of the chaos. I could walk to the Duomo in about fifteen minutes, but when I came back in the evenings, the neighborhood felt residential and quiet. There’s a little bar around the corner where locals grab their morning espresso — exactly the kind of spot you stumble upon and feel like you’ve discovered something.

Practical Matters

Look, this isn’t a place with a concierge or daily housekeeping, so set your expectations accordingly. But for a three-star setup, everything worked exactly as it should. The shower had decent pressure, the WiFi didn’t cut out during my video calls, and — this might sound silly — but the beds were actually comfortable. Sometimes with apartment rentals, you get these awful mattresses that feel like afterthoughts, but I slept well here.

Why Guests Love It

The 7.6 rating makes sense when you consider what you’re getting for the price point. It’s not trying to be something it isn’t — no fancy lobby or elaborate amenities — but it nails the basics that matter most. Having two separate bedrooms in central Milan without paying hotel prices for multiple rooms? That’s the real win here.   Location was excellent, within walking distance to many attractions eg Il Duomo and shopping precinct of Milan. Apartment bedding excellent and being met for key handover lovely touch.

  Perfect location close to centre, beds really comfy, powerful shower and hot water, could come and go pleased, responses from the booking were so quick and helpful

  What could be improved: The property had cobwebs on the ceiling. It had dead mosquito marks on the walls and it wasn’t cleaned properly. I informed housemate about the problem and they only seemed to help with the AC problem not the cleaning issue, which sucks.

  Location is very good, nice building and balcony. Apartment is very nice and big and has got alot of potential. Apart from little issues we’ve had a good stay.
  
  What could be improved: It is such a nice apartment but really need some attention to details. First of all it wasn’t very clean. Hair on the bath tub, lots of dead mosquitoes on the walls, the curtains were partly hanging off the rod. Everything just need a good scrub. Also all of us got bitten by mosquitoes at night. There is no chairs on the balcony. Small Shower head is not working in the on suite bathroom.

  Location was perfect. Just 10 minutes walk front Dome.

  The location was excellent with being close to Duomo and many great restaurants etc. The apartment was very quiet and just beautiful! Beds were so comfortable and the bathrooms were beautiful. Kitchen is very nice but could be more stalked and cared for.
  
  What could be improved: If a few more basic items were shared the apartment could easily be 11 out of 10. Just paper towels, more toilet paper, clothes washing pods (luckily we had and left some), hand soap out (luckily we found some in the cabinets) and just soap etc to shower with. Honestly the apartment is incredible.
