The building itself has that classic Milanese residential feel, nothing flashy but solid and well-maintained. You know what struck me most? How quiet it felt despite being so close to everything that matters in the city.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s the thing about staying near Fiera Milano and CityLife — you’re actually in a sweet spot that most tourists overlook. The De Angeli metro station is literally a few minutes’ walk away, which means you can be in the Duomo area in about 15 minutes. But what I really loved was having Portello Park practically next door — it’s this massive green space where locals jog and families hang out on weekends.

The Space Itself

This three-star setup gives you way more space than any hotel room would, and I mean that in the best possible way. The two bedrooms are actually separate rooms (not just divided spaces), which matters if you’re traveling with friends or family who have different sleep schedules. The main living area flows into a practical kitchen that’s got everything you need — I made coffee every morning and even attempted some pasta one evening with ingredients from the local market.

Neighborhood Life

Walking around this area, you get a real sense of how Milanese people actually live. There’s this excellent bakery about two blocks away where the same woman served me cornetti every morning — she started recognizing me by day three. The CityLife shopping district is close enough when you need it, but you’re far enough away to avoid the crowds. I actually preferred eating at the smaller places along Via De Angeli rather than the touristy spots in the center.

Why Guests Love It

Look, this isn’t going to wow you with fancy amenities or a concierge, but that’s sort of the point. You get a proper apartment experience in Milan without paying hotel prices for cramped quarters. The area feels safe for walking around at night, and you’re connected to everywhere you want to go without being in the middle of tourist chaos. For the price point and the space you get, it’s honestly hard to complain about much — just don’t expect daily housekeeping or room service.

  המארחת היתה מאוד אדיבה ועשתה ככל שיכלה כדי שהאירוח יעבור בהצלחה. הדירה מרווחת ונקיה, יש כלי מטבח והמיקום במרחק כעשר דקות הליכה מתחנת מטרו.
  
  What could be improved: שקעי החשמל היו בעייתיים והמדיח לא עבד. היה קצת חסר לי שהמארחת לא היתה נוכחת פנים מול פנים אבל היא כל הזמן היתה זמינה בטלפון.

  La struttura aveva una posizione comoda e facilmente raggiungibile.
  
  What could be improved: Abbiamo trovato l’acqua ghiacciata, quindi non abbiamo potuto lavarci, i letti erano scomodi. Le stoviglie non bastavano per tutti nonostante avessimo chiaramente detto quanti eravamo. Idem per i cuscini su cui dormire. La doccia con il solo soffione centrale ha reso scomode tutte le docce.
