The building is older (this is Milan, after all), so don’t expect an elevator — though the climb isn’t terrible. WiFi worked fine for video calls, and the shower had decent water pressure. Parking isn’t included, but honestly, you don’t need a car in this part of the city anyway.

  What could be improved: When the time came to do the self check-in, 3pm, I had problems entering the apartment. The instructions on the message sent by booking are not so clear. Anyway, I couldn’t let myself in and nobody was answering the phone. The only phone number available was clearly disconnected. I waited for 45 minutes outside the door! And not only, when the person finally answer on WA, he (or she) refused to take my call, only texting, and outright refused to say that they were sorry to make me wait. Saying they the instructions sent by email (I only check the messages on Booking, not all the emails, honestly) were clear. Absolutely rude and unprofessional.

  Well renovated and bright attic with good air conditioned, in a non renovated and non isolated building. The apartment is very nice with all facilities. Not far from the city center.
  
  What could be improved: We did not know that we would have to provide personal IDs and pictures of each of us (even our daughter!) before receiving indications needed to enter. The hosts were not concerned about receiving no news from us and not sending us the access codes. We arrived at the address (in an area of shisha bars), there was a list of names unknown to us, no name as mentioned on Booking. It was late, we had been driving all day, and did not even know if we were at the right place and how to enter. No agreeable start of vacation. Once we called, understood that we will not be granted access (despite payment) without being obliged to send pictures of us and our IDs, then we could finally get in. The very small elevator (not for claustrophobics) brings you to the 4th floor and the staircase continues to the 5th. Expensive for a one bedroom apartment with other beds in the main room (living & kitchen and no curtains).

The owner was difficult about check in, insisting that we should have internet to check in when the clear instructions were that we could check in using the bell on the building. He was quite argumentative and I had to read the instructions to him before he conceded to which he stated the instructions were wrong. Not a pleasant experience.
