This three-star spot doesn’t try to be flashy, but it’s got this understated charm that actually works better than you’d expect.

Location & Neighborhood

San Siro isn’t your typical tourist zone, which is sort of the point. You’re about 20 minutes from the Duomo by metro, but you get to experience Milan like locals do — there’s a genuine neighborhood feel here with cafes where people actually work on laptops and small shops that aren’t aimed at tour groups. The famous San Siro Stadium is practically next door if you’re into football, and I mean, being in Milan and not catching an Inter or AC Milan match feels like a missed opportunity.

The Room

My room was surprisingly spacious for Milan standards, with floor-to-ceiling windows that let in tons of natural light. The design is minimalist but warm — think Scandinavian meets Italian sensibility. What I really appreciated was the attention to small details: proper blackout curtains (trust me, this matters), decent Wi-Fi that actually works, and a bathroom that feels modern without being sterile. The beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with the mattress all night.

Practical Matters

Each unit comes with a compact kitchenette that’s actually functional — not just for show like some places. You’ve got a proper fridge, microwave, and basic cookware, which comes in handy when you want to grab fresh ingredients from the local markets and have breakfast without the tourist markup. Parking is available, and in a city like Milan where finding a spot can be a nightmare, that’s worth its weight in gold. The staff speaks decent English and genuinely seems to care about making your stay work.
