easyhomes – Spiga Suite Overview

First Impressions

When I first walked up to easyhomes – Spiga Suite, I’ll admit I was expecting something pretty standard for a three-star place. But honestly, the location on Via Borgospesso immediately caught my attention — you’re basically in the heart of Milan‘s fashion district, just steps from where all the serious shopping happens. The building itself has that classic Milanese charm, and while the entrance isn’t flashy, there’s something refreshingly straightforward about the whole setup.

The Neighborhood Advantage

Here’s what I really love about this spot — you’re positioned perfectly between the Quadrilatero della Moda and the Brera district. I mean, you can walk to Via della Spiga (hence the name, I guess) in about two minutes, and the Duomo is maybe a 10-minute stroll. What’s actually brilliant is that while you’re surrounded by high-end boutiques and galleries, the street itself stays relatively quiet in the evenings. You know what I found surprising? There’s this little courtyard nearby where locals grab their morning espresso, and it feels like you’ve discovered some hidden corner of the city.

The Suite Experience

The apartment style setup works really well here — much better than I expected from the photos online. Each unit feels more like a mini home than a typical hotel room, which is perfect if you’re staying more than a couple nights. The kitchenette is actually functional (not just decorative like some places), and I appreciated being able to grab fresh ingredients from the market on Via Brera and make a simple breakfast. The decor is clean and modern without trying too hard — think Scandinavian minimalism with Italian touches.

Practical Considerations

Look, I need to be honest about a few things. Parking in this area is basically non-existent on the street, so if you’re driving, you’ll want to look into nearby garages (there’s one about three blocks away). The staff isn’t on-site 24/7 like a traditional hotel, but they’re responsive via WhatsApp, which actually worked out fine for me. One thing that impressed me was how they handled check-in — everything was smooth and they gave me genuinely useful tips about the neighborhood, not just tourist pamphlet stuff.

Why Guests Love It

After spending five nights here, I get why this place has such solid reviews. It’s that sweet spot where you feel like you’re living in Milan rather than just visiting it. The combination of the prime location, the apartment-style comfort, and the reasonable price point (especially for this neighborhood) makes a lot of sense. You’re paying for location and independence rather than fancy amenities, and if that’s what you’re after, easyhomes delivers. Plus, there’s something satisfying about walking out your door and being immediately surrounded by some of the most beautiful shopping streets in Europe — even if you’re just window shopping like I was most of the time.

Reviews of easyhomes – Spiga Suite

  • Really enjoyed my stay and Davide my host was brilliant, I had too much to drink one night and lost the keys to the apar – Ashley from United Kingdom – 28 April 2025 (9/10)

Really modern comfortable apartment in a a fantastic location with everything within walking distance. If not eating out you had plenty of facilities to cook a good meal.

What could be improved: Nothing i disliked.

  • Disappointing – Pablo from Paraguay – 23 July 2024 (4/10)

    Location

What could be improved: Small, uncomfortable shower
    Air conditioner not working properly

  • Excellent as specified – Ajay from India – 22 June 2024 (10/10)

    Location

  • Passable – Ricardo from Germany – 14 June 2024 (5/10)

The location was central and easy to get to

What could be improved: The rubbish collection and street cleaning after midnight was not ideal.

  • Very clean and convenient location for site seeing/ meals out – Kerry from United Kingdom – 25 March 2024 (7/10)

    Very clean

What could be improved: Unfortunately very noisy location at night. It is central which is good but noise from the street was very loud.

  • Great location but unfortunately too much noise in the room. – Tuğçe from Turkey – 23 February 2024 (6/10)

    The location is super nice.

What could be improved: not the best street to stay because its toooooo noisy, every single noise is in your room. You should give customers sleepers and you need a small shelf in the shower cabinet, unfortunately the bathroom is not that big as it looks, you might want to update your images. Sleepers is a must + at least 2 bottle of water for welcoming I think…

  • Great location, too loud to sleep – William from United Kingdom – 6 December 2023 (2/10)

The location is amazing. You're in the centre of the fashion district, lovely part of Milan.

What could be improved: That flat is amazingly located but you will struggle to sleep. The windows are incredibly thin and there is loud street noise every night. The street cleaners at 1-2am, the trash collection around 4am and the school arrival 7-8am. We were woken up several times every night and had to leave early but were still charged the full amount. Important to note the street itself is quiet but the windows are so thin it doesn't dampen the sound at all. If you can sleep through noise, you'll be fine but the location is not worth it for the price and lack of sleep.

  • It was a bed to sleep on, not worth the amount that we paid. – Ramon from South Africa – 7 September 2023 (2/10)

    The location.

What could be improved: The images were not necessarily true to real life. The apartment did not feel clean or maintained properly. The bed was very uncomfortable. The shower was almost impossible to use comfortably as it was so small- for a average to tall person it’s really not ideal. I would recommend advertising the size of the shower in your listing.

  • Superb – Dee from United States – 21 June 2023 (9/10)

We had a wonderful stay at Spiga Suites. It's close to the Duomo & shopping center. I would highly recommend this place.

What could be improved: The only thing we don't like is that there's no light by the stairs. Or if there was , it was only on the first flight of stairs.

  • Good value for money – Renzo from France – 25 May 2023 (8/10)

Location is great. The apartment is spacious and bright. It also has a small balcony.

What could be improved: I like the brightness and at the same time I didn't like it early in the morning. There is a school in front of the apartment so it is noisy in the AM.
