Easylife – Milano – Battisti 13 – Duomo Overview

First Impressions

Easylife – Milano – Battisti 13 – Duomo isn’t trying to be something it’s not, and honestly, that’s refreshing. This three-star property sits right on Via Cesare Battisti, which means you’re basically in the heart of everything without paying those insane luxury hotel prices. The building itself has that classic Milanese charm — you know, the kind where you feel like you’re staying in a real neighborhood rather than some tourist bubble.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s the thing about this spot — you’re literally a few minutes’ walk from the Duomo, but you’re on a side street that actually feels livable. I mean, Via Cesare Battisti connects you to all the main action, but it’s not one of those crazy busy thoroughfares where you can’t think straight. The metro connections are solid too, and if you’re planning to explore beyond the city center, you’ll appreciate how easy it is to get around from here.

The Room Experience

The room setup is pretty straightforward — clean, functional, with everything you actually need rather than stuff that just looks good in photos. What I liked was that they didn’t try to cram too much into the space, so it feels more comfortable than cramped. The windows face the street, which gives you those nice glimpses of daily Milanese life, though you might catch some street noise if you’re a really light sleeper.

Practical Details

Look, this isn’t the kind of place where you’ll find a fancy spa or elaborate room service, but they handle the basics well. The staff knows the area inside and out — they actually gave me better restaurant recommendations than most guidebooks. Speaking of which, there’s a solid local restaurant just around the corner that serves incredible risotto, and the front desk folks will point you toward the good stuff rather than the tourist traps.

Why Guests Love It

What really works here is the balance between location and value. You’re staying in Milan‘s centro storico without breaking the bank, and the place feels authentic rather than manufactured for tourists. It’s the kind of spot where you can drop your bags and immediately start exploring, knowing you’ve got a comfortable base to return to. Plus, when you’re spending most of your time wandering the city anyway, having a no-fuss place that gets the fundamentals right makes perfect sense.

To book a hotel in Milan during opera season, visitors plan ahead to balance La Scala performances with quiet Navigli canal strolls.

Reviews of Easylife – Milano – Battisti 13 – Duomo

  • Superb – Dilnoza from Greece – 6 October 2025 (9/10)

The apartment is huge — it was listed as having 2 bedrooms, but in fact there are 3, and 2 bathrooms. It’s bright, has a nice kitchen, everything was convenient, and it’s close to the city center.

What could be improved: It wasn’t very clean — there were dust balls rolling on the floor, someone’s pants were left in the closet, and the vases had a thick layer of dust and even some trash inside. For such a high price, I would have expected a bit more — for example, toothbrushes and a bit more soap.

  • nice location, nice apartment – Deniz from Turkey – 22 July 2025 (9/10)

Very spacious apartment and it was convenient. The hosts were responsive. I recommend

What could be improved: i gave some feedback to the hosts in private message. No big issues, just somethings that need to be looked into. in general good place.

  • Self contained spacious central apt – good value – enjoyed very much – Elizabeth from Australia – 23 July 2024 (9/10)

Character of the apt and how spacious

What could be improved: Need to press hot water button so have hot water in master bathroom – didn’t realise

  • Superb – Jeff from United States – 20 July 2024 (9/10)

Super clean and extremely spacious! Great location to Duomo (about 10min walk). About 12 Euro taxi ride from Milan Centrale. Would definitely stay here again.

  • Satisfied – Janardhan from India – 3 June 2024 (9/10)

Every thing is good, it is very good property

What could be improved: we didn’t get hot water in a bathroom, we reminded property owner but it is not resolved.

  • Good – Elke from Switzerland – 15 April 2024 (7/10)

Very nice, spacy apartment – clean and everything there you need.

What could be improved: The front bed room is quite loud because you hear all the noise from the street.

  • Good – Robert from Malta – 12 April 2024 (7/10)

What could be improved: The layout of the apartment

  • Very good – Na from New Zealand – 9 January 2024 (8/10)

    Location, kitchen facility.

What could be improved: Water boiler.

  • Perfect location for a city break or a day out to beautiful Lake Como. – Justine from United Kingdom – 6 June 2023 (8/10)

Lovely apartment in a beautful building, very helpful with the questions we had regarding the area. We had accommodation cancelled 3 days before our trip and Booking.com suggested this one, we think it was a much better option than the one that cancelled on us so actually pleased they had overbooked!

What could be improved: The shutters on the road side rooms need to be down at night to limit the noise but the bedroom at the rear of the property couldn't hear a sound.

  • happy – Veronica from Switzerland – 31 January 2023 (8/10)

location super close to duomo, huge apartment with many rooms and kitchen. great for family

What could be improved: 1) not easy access for family with stroller as the main gate downstairs was locked. 2)slight odor from the heating or lack of ventilation
