Easylife – Milano – Vigevano 13 P1 – Porta Genova Overview
First Impressions
Easylife – Milano – Vigevano 13 P1 – Porta Genova sits right in the heart of Navigli, and honestly, you can’t ask for a better spot to experience authentic Milan. When I first walked up Via Vigevano, I was struck by how this three-star property manages to feel both modern and distinctly Milanese. The building itself has that understated Italian elegance — nothing flashy, but you know you’re somewhere special.
Location & Neighborhood
The Navigli district is where locals actually hang out, not just tourists snapping photos at the Duomo. You’re literally steps away from the famous canals that Leonardo da Vinci helped design, and the evening aperitivo scene here is absolutely unmatched. I mean, you can stumble out of your apartment and be sipping Negronis canalside within two minutes. The Porta Genova metro station is so close you’ll hear the trains, but it’s not disruptive — just a gentle reminder that you’re connected to the entire city.
The Space
What surprised me most was how thoughtfully designed everything feels for the price point. The kitchenette isn’t just a mini-fridge and a hotplate — you can actually cook a proper meal if you want to skip the restaurant scene for a night. The layout makes smart use of every square foot, and there’s enough storage that you won’t be living out of your suitcase. The WiFi is solid (crucial when you’re trying to figure out which aperitivo bar to hit next), and the air conditioning actually works, which isn’t always a given in older Milan buildings.
Getting Around
Here’s what I wish someone had told me before my first Milan trip — forget about parking if you’re thinking of renting a car. This location makes it completely unnecessary anyway. The metro connects you directly to Centrale station for those day trips to Lake Como, and you can walk to Brera or the fashion district when you want to pretend you can afford Prada. Plus, the tram system here is surprisingly charming and gets you places the metro doesn’t reach.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t going to give you marble bathrooms or a rooftop pool, but that’s not the point. What it does give you is a genuine Milan experience without the tourist markup. The 8.4 rating makes perfect sense when you consider the location, the practical amenities, and the fact that you’re staying where actual Milanese people live and work. You’ll spend your mornings grabbing espresso from the corner bar (where they’ll remember your order by day three) and your evenings discovering why Navigli has the best nightlife in the city. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’re visiting Milan, not just passing through it.

Reviews of Easylife – Milano – Vigevano 13 P1 – Porta Genova
Exceptional – Lee from United Kingdom – 30 November 2025 (10/10)
Excellent location near to the canal areas with hundreds of bars and restaurants. Also really close to the metro. The apartment was a little tricky to find – the number of the property that the apartment is in, is above and to the side of the big doors and we couldn't gain access on arrival, but calling the number sent via the booking info and we were in pretty quickly, so no real drama
What could be improved: Nothing really although I went with my 20 year old son so I used the sofa bed in the living area, and he the double bed but there was no bedding for the sofa bed that we could find but I slept ok.Enjoyable stay despite a few hiccups – Mirek from Australia – 16 October 2025 (7/10)
Excellent location close to restaurants and metro. Walking distance to main tourist attractions.
What could be improved: No wi fi at all despite contacting management several times and being told they would attend to. Incorrect code initially given for electronic lock entry.Exceptional – Marina from Cyprus – 1 October 2025 (10/10)
The apartment is in a very good location, there is the best ever coffee shop just next door with the best pistachio croissants. Bars, shops, restaurants, metro station are just minutes walk. Duomo is walkable distance as well. The street where the apartment is located has a very busy night life, however at the same time you don't hear any noise when you are indoor. Accomodation is well maintained, clean and has everything you could need, the bed is comfortable. We arrived late and we were explained and directed fast and easy how to get in to the property, thanks to Support. I would 100% suggest this place for Milan stay and would stay there again if decide to come back.
Complicated payment process. – Konjit from Ethiopia – 27 May 2025 (6/10)
The rooms are clean , the location was very good
What could be improved: The rooms are dark . No adequate light . The city tax payment should have been included in the price so that I could have paid all together. The staff were reluctant to give me the information how to access the apartment until I paid the city tax . It was very frustrating inconsiderate to refuse giving me information about the apartment until i was almost approaching Milan station . The city tax was only 40 euro and i was ready to pay . The internet connection on the train was bad to transfer this amount . They could have some level of trust to a custmor and minimize the stress .Amazing stay would reccomend 10/10 and good value for money – Emma from United Kingdom – 2 April 2025 (10/10)
The apartment was spacious and we were amazed at how nice it was. It has everything you need, the bathroom was lovely, the bedroom was amazing. The bed was super comfy and massive, we loved the memory foam mattress too. The living area was spacious and chill. The location was great couple minutes walk to the Canal. There are a lot of great restaurants on the road the apartment is on we tried 2 and were very impressed. 25 ish mins walk to the Dumo, much better than getting the metro as you can see the sites and explore. The host was lovely and left us with all the correct instructions and details. Very stylish apartment I would say it's more than just basic and has lots of nice finishing touches. We were so glad we stayed here rather than in the center of Milan as it is much nicer socially and the canal and bars and restaurants along there are lovely.
What could be improved: Nothing!Nice honest little apartment in a great location if you don’t have a car. – Constantine from Australia – 30 January 2025 (7/10)
Great Location, comfortable had all the necessary amenities would stay again if in Milan.
What could be improved: Parking is an issue if you have a carSuperb – Nikoletta from Greece – 14 October 2024 (9/10)
Amazing location very nice apartment
Good for short stays – Eeske from Netherlands – 15 August 2023 (7/10)
Good location, metro 5 min walk. By metro u can reach entire city, though in 10-20 min walks u can reach the centre with shops etc. Restaurants all around. You enter through several doors before reaching the courtyard with all apartments so you’re away from the busy street.
What could be improved: The place was not as clean as expected. The dishwasher broke during our stay and we notified the owners, unfortunately they did not inform us that they had send someone to fix it so we were surprised to have somebody by the door. The machine could not be fixed. Furthermore the towels, pillows and mattress were not of great quality so it did affect our backs, neck/shoulders. The laundry machine works well but there is no place to hang or dry clothing. Since we booked for a longer period we would have liked to change our sheets but there was no other bedding available. The same goes for the towels, of which there was only 1 set per person to shower, no towels for the kitchen. The kitchen furthermore missed certain items like scissors, sharp knifes, cutting board etc. Ultimately, the place is suited to cook your own meals and gives access to explore the city quickly. The rest of the stay just requires some adjusting.location great and overall good – Tommy from United Kingdom – 10 June 2023 (8/10)
location was great.
small supermarket and metro close by and bars restaurants just around the corner on the canal.
checking in was well organised.
apartment was clean, secure and peaceful.
What could be improved: Most people may like a full memory foam mattress but it wasn’t for me.
A/C was easy enough to use and it does work but it wasn’t as cool as I’d like it to be.Excellent location, all-around good choice – Eleni from Greece – 24 April 2023 (9/10)
Fantastic location, near everything in the hip Navigli neighborhood and very easy access to public transportation. Clean, quiet, comfortable apartment inside a building complex, very secure. Very accommodating hosts, very responsive, the whole process was seamless.
What could be improved: For the price and level of the accommodation, I expected much better (newer, better condition) linens and towels, and a better coffee maker.
