Here’s what I love about this location — you’re genuinely in the heart of things without the constant tourist chaos. The Duomo is maybe a 10-minute walk, but you’re on this quieter side street where locals actually live and work. There’s a tiny café next door where the barista remembered my order by day three, and honestly, that tells you everything about the neighborhood vibe. The metro’s close enough when you need it, but you’ll find yourself walking everywhere because Milan’s center is surprisingly compact.

The Room Experience

My room was compact but thoughtfully designed — I mean, this is Milan, so space is premium real estate. What struck me was the attention to detail: the lighting actually worked for reading, the bed was properly comfortable (not just Instagram-pretty), and the bathroom had decent water pressure. The decor walks that fine line between contemporary and timeless, with warm wood tones and clean lines that feel more sophisticated than trendy.

Daily Rhythms

Breakfast happens in a cozy ground-floor space that doubles as a lounge area throughout the day. It’s not a massive buffet situation — more like carefully curated Italian basics done really well. Fresh pastries, proper espresso, and they’ll make you eggs if you ask nicely. The staff here genuinely seems to enjoy their work, which makes a bigger difference than you’d think. In the evenings, that same space becomes this quiet retreat where you can actually have a conversation without shouting.

With a 9.5 rating, people clearly connect with what this place offers — and after staying here, I get it. It’s not trying to be the flashiest hotel in Milan or pack in every possible amenity. Instead, it focuses on doing the essentials exceptionally well while giving you genuine access to how the city actually feels. You’re staying somewhere that locals would recommend to their friends, not just another generic hotel that could be anywhere. The whole experience feels more like staying at a well-designed apartment in a great neighborhood than checking into a traditional hotel — which, honestly, is exactly what you want when you’re exploring a city like Milan.

  Great location and beautiful room. The host Alberto was excellent – he was so friendly and easily accessible by text. He booked us a taxi to the train station and always answered any of our texts very quickly. He also sent us fantastic food recommendations in the nearby area.
  
  The room was very clean and comfortable. It had a beautiful decoration, it is clear there has been very good attention to detail. Also had a safe for valuables and easy to access the property using the app. Can also ask for keys if you wish however using the app to unlock the doors was really easy for us. The bed was very comfortable. There is also a communal terrace area which is stunning.
  
  Location wise it is around a 10 minute walk to the duomo. The location is very well connected with trams and buses.

  Rooms are fun and well-designed, including a very comfortable bed. The stay is perfectly located around a 15 minute walk from the main piazza and galleries. The host was welcoming, organised, and provided us with information on things to see and places to eat that were either close to the stay or in Milan City Centre.

  Stunning property. Beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, great amenities, fantastic location close to main sites and public transport but in a peaceful area. Check in, communication and support from the property was first rate including excellent recommendations for food and things to do.

  Staying here felt like stepping into a living art piece. Every corner tells a story, from the bold blue hallway lights to the perfect mix of vintage and modern decor. It’s giving museum meets Pinterest board in the best possible way. You can truly feel the love for detail everywhere.
  
  The terrace was such a lovely surprise, filled with plants, warm lights and a calm, peaceful vibe. It felt like a little hidden garden in the middle of the city, the perfect spot to unwind for a while.
