Location & Neighborhood

Here’s what really works about this spot — you’re genuinely in Milan City Centre without paying those insane prices you’d find closer to the Duomo. Corso Garibaldi itself is one of those streets that locals actually use, lined with cafes where you’ll hear more Italian than English. The Porta Garibaldi train station is close enough that you can easily hop on the metro, but far enough that you won’t deal with constant tourist crowds outside your door.

The Room Experience

My room was smaller than what you’d expect in other cities, but this is Milan — space is premium everywhere. What impressed me was how thoughtfully everything was arranged; they’ve maximized every corner without making it feel cramped. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, and the bathroom, while compact, had decent water pressure (which you can’t take for granted in older European buildings). The decor is contemporary without being trendy — it’ll age well.

Dining & Amenities

The breakfast situation is pretty standard for this category of hotel, but there’s a solid coffee bar downstairs that actually makes a proper espresso. What I found more useful was the restaurant recommendation list they provide — clearly someone who knows the neighborhood put it together. There’s no on-site parking, but honestly, you don’t want to drive in central Milan anyway; the public transport connections here are excellent.

  Enkel, men god frokostbuffet, med valgfri kaffe. Separate senger. En liten balkong. Minibar. Romslig bad, god dusj. Hyggelig og imøtekommende personale. 2 minutters gange til Metro (Moscova). Mange spisesteder i umiddelbar nærhet.

  I stayed here after a business trip to Milan and everything was perfect. The room was bright and very clean and I also received a free upgrade!
  
  What truly made the difference was the reception staff: Anna, Vanessa, Aleksandra and Mariano gave me great recommendations about restaurants in the area and they even took care of my luggage after the check-out. They also told me that the hotel has recently opened.
  
  The hotel is easily reachable by metro, if you are coming from the central station you just need to take the green line and get off at Moscova station, just a short walk from the hotel.
