Giusti Flat – next to Cimitero Monumentale Castello Sforzesco Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Giusti Flat – next to Cimitero Monumentale Castello Sforzesco, you immediately understand why this four-star property works so well. It’s tucked into the Sempione neighborhood on a quiet residential street, but honestly — you’re about two minutes from some of Milan’s most iconic spots. The building itself has that understated Milanese elegance, nothing flashy, just solid and welcoming in the way that makes you feel like you’ve found something genuine.
The Neighborhood
Here’s what I love about this location — you’re literally next to Cimitero Monumentale, which sounds morbid but is actually one of the most beautiful spots in the city. It’s like an outdoor sculpture museum, and locals use it for evening walks. Castello Sforzesco is a five-minute stroll away, and from there you can easily walk to the Duomo or catch the metro anywhere you need to go. The Sempione area has this residential feel that most tourists never experience, with proper cafés where people actually live their daily lives.
The Space
The apartment setup here is what sets it apart from typical hotel rooms. You get a proper kitchenette (which, trust me, comes in handy when you want morning coffee without hunting down an open café), plus enough space to actually unpack and settle in. The design is clean and modern without being sterile — I mean, it feels like staying in a well-appointed Milan flat rather than a generic hotel room. The windows are generous, and you get decent natural light even on those gray Milanese days.
Practical Matters
What actually impressed me was how smoothly everything worked. The Wi-Fi doesn’t drop out when you need it most, the shower has proper water pressure, and the heating system responds quickly — details that matter when you’re dealing with Milan’s unpredictable weather. There’s also parking available, which is honestly a minor miracle in this part of the city. Most places around here either don’t offer it or charge ridiculous rates for street parking that’s blocks away.
Why Guests Love It
You know what makes this place special? It strikes that perfect balance between independence and service. You’re not dealing with a bustling hotel lobby or fighting for elevator space with tour groups, but you still get the reliability and cleanliness standards you expect from a four-star property. The 8.8 rating makes complete sense once you stay here — it’s the kind of spot where small thoughtful touches add up to something that just works. Plus, when you step outside, you’re in real Milan, not tourist Milan, which honestly makes all the difference in how the city feels.
Savvy travelers reserve a hotel in Milan before spring brings wisteria blooms, design installations, and warm evening breezes.

Exceptional – Thang from Ireland – 18 April 2024 (10/10)
Rebecca is one of the best host I’ve had, and her place is perfect. One could tell she put in a lot of work at making the lovely apartment welcoming for guests rather than a random soulless rental apartment. The bed is comfortable and she has every thing one needs, from espresso coffee to washing machine. Thanks for making our stay so comfortable!
Exceptional – Lana from Serbia – 21 December 2023 (10/10)
Rebecca is an amazing host (when I say it, I really mean it – she planned the whole tourist tour for us and gave many many many useful tipps)! Since we landed arround midnight we had to check in after the check in time and Rebecca had no problem with that at all. The location of the flat is perfect – it is super close to the city center, yet really peaceful, safe and quiet. The flat is super clean and has everything you can happen to need + it is suuuuuuper cute, full of interesting books and magazines. I'm sure that if I come to Milan again, I'll stay at this apartment 🙂
Wonderful experience; Friendly and attentive host; Lovely location – Yichen from Netherlands – 16 December 2023 (10/10)
The owner is very friendly and helpful!
Rooms are spacious and clean!
The neighborhood is very clean and quiet, the location is very convenient, next to the bus and tram station, with 5 minutes walk to the metro station.
Most importantly for foddies, it's right next to Chinatown, so it's surrounded by all kinds of authentic Asian food!
What could be improved: No, Everything is perfect.Superb – James from United Kingdom – 20 November 2023 (9/10)
The apartment was beautifully decorated, lots of nice little touches. Bathroom was lovely and it was in a nice quiet building/development considering how central we were. Host was very friendly and easily contactable. Would definitely stay here again. Good base to explore Milan and good for couples. Would like an iron/ironing board but already knew it didn't have one before our stay so not a negative for us.
What could be improved: No negatives for our stay.Superb – Susan from Australia – 1 November 2023 (9/10)
The apartment is homely, spacious and clean with everything you need. Close to public transport and an easy walk to all the sites of Brera. Rebecca is a well organised and helpful host.
