Walking up to this three-star property, you immediately notice how the building blends into the neighborhood’s modern aesthetic — it’s not trying too hard, which I actually appreciate. The entrance feels more like you’re visiting a well-designed residential building than checking into a typical hotel.

The Neighborhood

You know what’s great about this location? You’re literally a ten-minute walk from Porta Garibaldi station, which means the rest of Milan is incredibly accessible. The Bosco Verticale towers are right there — those famous vertical forest skyscrapers you’ve probably seen on Instagram. During my stay, I found myself walking past them every morning, and it never got old. The area has this energy that feels both business-oriented and residential, with plenty of cafes and small shops tucked between the modern architecture.

The Space

The apartment itself surprised me — and I mean that in the best way. It’s spacious enough that you don’t feel cramped, with a proper kitchenette that’s actually functional (I made coffee there every morning). The room has large windows that let in tons of natural light, which makes the space feel even bigger. Everything’s clean and modern without being sterile, and there’s enough storage that you can actually unpack if you’re staying more than a couple nights.

Practical Details

Here’s something I really valued — the WiFi actually works well throughout the entire space, which isn’t always guaranteed in apartment-style accommodations. The kitchen comes stocked with basic essentials, so you can grab groceries from the Esselunga nearby and save money on meals (Milan isn’t exactly cheap for dining out). There’s no on-site restaurant, but honestly, with Chinatown just a few blocks away and the Corso Como area within walking distance, you’re not lacking options.

What sets this place apart is that 9.6 rating — and after staying there, I get it. It’s the kind of place where everything just works without any fuss. You’ve got the space and independence of an apartment rental, but with the reliability and service standards you expect from a hotel. The location gives you easy access to both Milan’s business district and its cultural attractions, while the neighborhood itself has this authentic local feel that many tourist areas lack. For the price point, you’re getting way more space and comfort than you’d find in a traditional hotel room in this part of the city.

  Beautiful apartment in Isola. heating was working excellently. coffeepods and sugar were provided. Beautifully decorated and new! Park and shopping nearby. Near Gioia metro station.
  
  What could be improved: There was no elevator and was on the 3rd floor. they are building an elevator now. saying this however, they did help me with my luggage upon arrival and departure.

  Il posto è molto carino, ricavato da un appartamento nelle caratteristiche casa di ringhiera. L'appartamento è nuovo, completamente ristrutturato, si scalda velocemente. Ho apprezzato ed utilizzato, gli ombrelli messi a disposizione. E' silenzioso e dotato di tutto quello che serve per un soggiorno breve ed anche di più (c'è la lavatrice). Zona molto bella, sicura, e a due passi dal piazza Gae Aulenti e a pochi min dal centro e dal quartiere Isola.
