Getting here from Malpensa is straightforward; the Malpensa Express drops you at Cadorna, then it’s a quick metro ride to Duomo station.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in had this warm, Van Gogh-inspired color palette that actually works — none of that tacky theme hotel nonsense you might expect. The space felt thoughtfully designed, with enough storage for a proper stay and windows that let in decent light despite being in Milan’s dense city center. What surprised me was how quiet it was at night, considering you’re surrounded by restaurants and bars just around the corner.

Neighborhood Gems

This is where staying here really pays off. You’ve got Peck (the famous gourmet food hall) practically next door, and some of Milan’s best aperitivo spots are within stumbling distance. The staff pointed me toward this little restaurant on Via Speronari that I never would’ve found otherwise — proper Milanese food, not tourist stuff. Plus, you can actually walk to La Scala in about eight minutes, which beats dealing with taxis or the metro after a late show.

Look, Milan isn’t cheap, and this place gives you real value in a city where location means everything. The 8.9 rating makes sense when you experience it — the staff knows their neighborhood inside and out, the rooms are comfortable without being flashy, and you’re positioned perfectly to explore both the obvious attractions and the hidden gems. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying in Milan rather than just visiting it, if that makes sense.

  Fabulous apartment ideally placed to explore Milan. The apartment itself was immaculate and had everything we needed for our stay. Instructions on accessing the apartment were clear and concise as was all communication throughout the stay. Located close to many bars and restaurants and a short walk to Duomo itself.
