Here’s what the guidebooks won’t tell you: this neighborhood (Porta Garibaldi area) is where actual Milanese people live and work. You’ve got the Bosco Verticale towers just a few blocks away, plus some seriously good aperitivo spots that tourists never find. The Metro’s close enough to reach the Duomo in fifteen minutes, but far enough that you’re not dealing with the crowds and inflated prices of the city center.

Practical Details

The four-star rating feels about right — it’s polished and comfortable without trying to be something it’s not. Street parking can be tricky (this is Milan, after all), but there’s a garage nearby if you’re driving. The building doesn’t have a traditional restaurant, but honestly, with that little kitchenette and the amazing food scene right outside your door, you won’t miss it. WiFi was solid throughout my stay, which matters when you’re trying to navigate a new city.

  The communication from the host is very prompt, helpful, informative and made it easy to find and locate the keys etc.
  I picked this apartment due to the location near to the train station. It is literally a five minute walk.
  The apartment comfortable suits three adults. It is well equipped, clean and tidy.

  Great location close to Central Station (5 min walk). Apartment with spacious bedroom, extra study/bed room, large balcony with internal city view but nice place to sit outside. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom with washing machine. Very quiet with shutters on all doors and windows. Comfortable bed and pillows.

  Close to Central station. Clean, comfortable and quiet. The company representative, Giacinto was very helpful and replied quickly to any queries we had.

  The organisational part was excellent! It was rather really easy to find the place, to check in, to check out, etc. Also, the appartement is quite big, clean, and packed with everything one could need during the longer stays.
  
  What could be improved: I would have appreciated some tea available. There was one tea bag only. Other than that – none.
