Lorenteggio isn’t exactly the glossy city center most tourists picture, but that’s sort of the point if you want to experience authentic Milan without the tourist markup. You’re about a 15-minute metro ride from the Duomo, and the nearby Bande Nere station connects you pretty easily to the rest of the city. The area has that lived-in feel — corner cafes where they know regulars by name, small shops, and tree-lined streets that actually feel peaceful after a day of sightseeing.

The Space Itself

Each room is essentially a mini-apartment setup, and they weren’t kidding about the “bright” part — large windows let in plenty of natural light throughout the day. The kitchenette is compact but functional, with everything you need if you want to grab groceries from the local market and save some euros on meals. I mean, Milan can get expensive fast, so having the option to make your own coffee in the morning is actually pretty nice. The furnishings are modern and clean, nothing fancy but comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep.

WiFi works reliably throughout — I had no issues working from the apartment during my stay. The 7.5 rating feels about right — it’s solid, dependable accommodation without any major surprises either way.

  Nice location, clean sheets and washroom.
  Coffee maker and washer included.

  What could be improved: You need to pay a fee if you dont get there on time to checkin. Our flight got delayed so we had to pay 25 EUR extra after 21:30.
  The AC is very weak, you set it to 16 Celsius but you still get about 26-28 Celsius of air temperature.

  Location was good, you can find within 100 m bar, gelato, bus stop, restaurant. The kitchen was fully equipped. The apartment was clean.

  Everything was wonderful. Except one important thing – issues with the wifi. As soon as I discovered this, I wrote about it to the host. They did their best trying to help. But it was time before the Easter, so we didn't succeed. All these days I didn't have the connection. And it was a great problem cause I had a birthday but couldn't get the congratulations 🤷‍♀️
  The host offered to make a discount and sent it to my account in a few days.
  So, the apartment is wonderful, clean and nice, situated in a quiet district. There is a nice cafe near it.
  Despite serious problems with the wifi I can recommend it. Hope they will repair the wifi

  Well kept apartment with sufficient facilities. The apartment overlooks a park and has a good options of restaurants nearby and a grocery store
  
  What could be improved: Not very close to the metro station but walkable distance. Quite a lot of noise from the residents upstairs, so be ready to hear pounding noises

  The appartment was clean, only 11 minutes far from metro station, quiet zone area, had all amenities. (dish washer, coffee machine)
  
  What could be improved: I think it's an old building and a couple of hours in the morning and in the evening we could hear some noise, we think it was some pipes, but we didn' t stay too much in the appartment so we didn't mind it. Overall everything was ok.

  I liked the warm and welcoming design. The location was perfect since we wanted to be close to the Beit Chabad which is located just a minute walk from the apartment. Additionally, the apartment was very convenient for observant Jews as it has keys and no automatic lights.
