There’s a decent restaurant scene right in the area too, including some spots that locals actually frequent rather than just tourist traps.

The rooms at Hotel Cavour are what I’d call “thoughtfully sized” — not huge by American standards, but perfectly adequate for Milan, and honestly, you’re not spending much time there anyway. What impressed me was the attention to details that actually matter: blackout curtains that work, a shower with decent water pressure, and storage space that makes sense. The décor leans classic Italian without being stuffy, and each room feels like it has some character rather than being cookie-cutter identical.

  The location of the hotel is amazing! Close to the Duomo and Via Montenapoleone and the trendy neibourghoud of Brera! We had a Modern room on the second floor with an extra bed for my daughter! Super nice and lots of space! Good and modern bathroom and a walking closet.

  Very clean. Modern facilities. We get early checkin which was great.

Also the coffee and tea provided was for one not two people. When we asked a cleaning staff member she was quick to give us another

  Rooms were a good size and very comfortable. Staff were all excellent – friendly, helpful and informed. Breakfast was buffet style and goos choice.
