Hotel Mozart Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Hotel Mozart on Piazza Gerusalemme, you immediately get that classic Milanese vibe — it’s tucked into the Sempione district, which honestly feels more like a real neighborhood than the touristy center. The building itself has this understated elegance that I really appreciated, sort of refined without trying too hard to impress you right off the bat.
Location & Getting Around
Here’s what I love about this spot in Milan — you’re actually close to Porta Garibaldi station, which means the metro connections are solid. The Sempione area has this nice residential feel, but you can still walk to the Brera district in about fifteen minutes if you want those trendy aperitivo spots. Plus, there’s this great little market nearby where locals actually shop, not just tourists taking photos.
The Room Experience
My room was what I’d call thoughtfully designed — nothing flashy, but everything worked exactly as it should. The four-star rating feels accurate here; you get proper amenities without the over-the-top stuff that sometimes feels unnecessary. The bathroom was spacious enough (which, let’s be honest, isn’t always a given in European hotels), and I actually slept well, which matters more than fancy pillows that look good but feel terrible.
Dining & Daily Rhythms
The breakfast situation surprised me in a good way — they had this mix of Italian classics and international options that didn’t feel forced. The restaurant area has these big windows that let in great morning light, and the staff seemed to remember how you liked your coffee after the second day. You know what I mean — those little touches that make you feel less like you’re just passing through.
Why Guests Love It
What really works about Hotel Mozart is that it gets the balance right between being professional and feeling human. The neighborhood gives you that authentic Milan experience without the chaos of the city center, but you’re not stranded somewhere inconvenient either. It’s the kind of place where business travelers and tourists both seem comfortable, which actually says something about how they’ve figured out their identity. I mean, finding parking in Milan is usually a nightmare, but they’ve sorted that out too, which removes one major travel headache right there.
Best hotels in Milan blend rooftop terraces, contemporary Italian style, and traditional Milanese breakfast spreads.

Reviews of Hotel Mozart
Great location but not a good place – Stanimir from Bulgaria – 3 December 2025 (8/10)
The location
What could be improved: We must pay for the parking and there was no breakfast included for this priceExcellent hotel with good location and kind staff! – Diana from Estonia – 28 November 2025 (9/10)
Very good location – next to the metro station and 25 min walk to centre. Staff was very kind and we were to left out luggage before check-in ans after check-out at the reception.
Rooms were freshly renovated, bathroom was excellent – enough hot water and spacious.
Breakfast was more or less good.
What could be improved: At first we had sigarete smell in our room, even if smoking was not allowed. It was nice, I liked it. What I didn’t like should be part for recommendations, as I liked while experience. – Mario from Croatia – 28 November 2025 (8/10)
Location next to the metro line for san siro. Room was clean.
What could be improved: I booked twin room on Booking com and in their system was one bed for two. At the check out, i needed to pay 14 euro touristic tax. I recommend to add this immediately when I’m paying on booking for room. I come to breakfast at 9:30 a.m. and there were no omelette, bread and some other things and no one refill it.Very cosy hotel with great location – Werner from Germany – 20 November 2025 (8/10)
The location was really nice . The room was comfortable and we could rent a space for parking as well for recent price.
What could be improved: The breakfast was ok .I was looking forward for a four star experience, but had a disappointing stay. – David from Switzerland – 3 November 2025 (7/10)
Central location, clean, quiet, nice interior design.
What could be improved: I booked the superior single room WITH breakfast included. When I arrived, the receptionist told me that I booked without breakfast and was quite rude to me, insisting, that I should pay for the breakfast so I paid for the breakfast 2x. They said I should be "very careful" when booking through Booking.com. The receptionist gave me a 'bigger room than the superior single that I originally booked' as a 'compensation for the misunderstanding' but the room was still funnily tiny, although with comfortable bed and clean. The room was very hot, 27°C, and it was impossible to get the temperature down. The window opened just a little bit, for security reasons, as the receptionist said. Having said that, this was just my personal experience and I believe I could have a better one next time and still would recommend this hotel.Superb – Ali from Australia – 19 October 2025 (9/10)
all good
Nice and cozy hotel with good breakfast – Nora from Hungary – 14 October 2025 (9/10)
The room was very small, but well equipped with everything: TV, kettle, small fridge, telephone. Bathroom was nice and had toiletries, hairdryer, clean towels and slippers (which were great as I forgot to bring mine). Breakfast was very good, with coffee, tea, juices, eggs, bacon, sausages, breads, butter, some cheese and cold cuts as well as pastries with jam. The staff were really nice and helpful! Everything was clean and organised. The metro station is really close, the whole area is nice with many shops and restaurants but not touristy, so you get to feel like a local.
What could be improved: The window was looking at another building's backyard where people were walking around. Bit noisy as other people kept slamming their door.Good – Manuel from Spain – 7 October 2025 (7/10)

What could be improved: BreakfastCould have been better – Hiti from United Kingdom – 6 October 2025 (7/10)
The room was very clean. Breakfast was good.
What could be improved: Upon arrival, we noticed that there was no milk available for making a drink. I went to the reception and asked for a little milk, as we were tired and wanted to prepare something to drink. The receptionist gave us two small milk pods (for three people) and explained that they do not normally provide milk, suggesting that we should go to the nearest shop if we wanted more.
I asked why they offer tea and coffee facilities if they cannot provide even a small amount of milk for guests, at least for the first day. He replied that they are Italians and do not typically have milk in their drinks, so they do not supply it to customers. I pointed out that the hotel accommodates international guests and should take their preferences into consideration. He laughed but still refused to provide any additional milk beyond the two pods.
Apart from this, all other aspects of our stay were excellent.Superb – Raha from United Kingdom – 5 October 2025 (9/10)
The room was excellent, clean and cosy. The staffs at the reception were kind and friendly. The breakfast was good, but could be better for a 4 star hotel. Good location, just 3 min walk to metro station. I suggest this hotel to anyone want to stay in a good hotel with a valuable price.
