Ibis Styles Milano Centro Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Ibis Styles Milano Centro, you immediately notice it’s not your typical chain hotel — there’s actually some personality here. The lobby has this modern, colorful vibe that feels more like a trendy café than a sterile hotel entrance. I mean, it’s still an Ibis, so don’t expect marble floors, but they’ve done something interesting with the design that makes you feel like you’re staying somewhere that actually cares about aesthetics.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s what I love about the spot on Via Boscovich — you’re close enough to Stazione Centrale that dragging your luggage isn’t a nightmare, but far enough away that you don’t hear trains all night. The Porta Garibaldi area has really transformed over the past few years, and you’re right in the middle of it all. You can walk to the business district or catch the metro to Milan‘s center without much fuss. There’s also decent parking nearby if you’re driving, though honestly, you won’t need a car once you’re here.

The Room Experience

The room itself is what you’d expect from a well-designed three-star place — clean, functional, with pops of color that keep things from feeling too corporate. The beds are actually comfortable (I was pleasantly surprised), and the shower has good pressure, which matters more than you think after a long day walking around the city. Storage space is decent, though if you’re the type who brings three suitcases, you might feel a bit cramped.

Food & Dining

The breakfast situation is solid — not fancy, but they’ve got fresh pastries, decent coffee, and enough variety that you won’t get bored if you’re staying several days. What’s nice is that the restaurant area doubles as a social space where you’ll often see business travelers and tourists mixing together. If you want dinner, though, step outside — the neighborhood has some excellent local spots that the front desk staff actually know about (and will recommend based on what you’re craving).

Why Guests Love It

You know what makes this place work? It’s the balance between being professional enough for business travelers but relaxed enough that families don’t feel out of place. The staff seems to genuinely care about helping you navigate the city, and they’re not just reciting scripts — they’ll tell you which metro line is running late or where to grab the best aperitivo nearby. For a mid-range hotel in Milan, it delivers exactly what it promises without trying to be something it’s not.

Reviews of Ibis Styles Milano Centro

  • Nice. We had all the necessary stuff. Great to rest – Ana from Portugal – 3 December 2025 (8/10)

What could be improved: All good

  • Great value in a good location – Graham from United Kingdom – 17 November 2025 (8/10)

Room was clean and tidy. Location was excellent, near Lima Metro station, and with plenty of restaurants nearby. Staff were helpful and friendly, and allowed me to have a late checkout for a small charge.

What could be improved: Some very basic cutlery etc would have been nice, especially given there's a fridge.

  • Very good – Dimitrios from Greece – 13 November 2025 (8/10)

What could be improved: Low quality of breakfast not fresh and not variety.

  • Handy location at a good price. – Kane from Australia – 7 November 2025 (8/10)

yes, ate more than I should have.

    What could be improved: nothing.

  • In general I can’t claim against satisfaction , satisfied! – Rami from Egypt – 15 October 2025 (8/10)

Location is very good near to train station and Beunos Aires with many restaurants and shopping around with lively atmosphere
Staff is really nice and supportive

What could be improved: May be design of the triple room was kind of strange , sensors for electricity needed to be adjusted , if someone of group go out of the room all electricity cuts off

  • Very good – Andrew from Australia – 12 October 2025 (8/10)

Close to centrale station. Lovely restaurant across the road.

What could be improved: Thin walls, tired carpet in the hallways. No coffee making facilities.

  • We stayed here approximately 3 weeks ago, and everything was awesome. Including the staff . This time no-one seemed h – Annette from Australia – 2 October 2025 (7/10)

The property is very nice. Decor is amazing
And the spacious rooms are lovely
    Breakfast is top notch

What could be improved: The room we were in was….ok. It was next to the street, AND the lift, so very loud….not much sleep happened
The shower rose was old and blocked so squirted everywhere. Room 009. Such a small complaint, but sleep, deprived ppl like a good shower
The staff this time wasn’t happy. Not many smiles, but some grumbles

  • Good location – Sara from United Kingdom – 7 September 2025 (9/10)

Good location. About 15 minute walk from Milano centrale and 2 minute walk to Lima metro station. Staff were friendly, everything was clean and the breakfast selection was good.

What could be improved: The shower is too small but for one night stay it didn’t bother us to much

  • First Timer at Ibis Styles Hotel Milano Centrale. I rate it 9 of 10. – Dang from United States – 1 September 2025 (9/10)

Everything went well. They gave me the option for Breakfast but I would like to continue my venture outside. Maybe I should hired a tour guide next time but I like to explore the city solo for the first time.

What could be improved: I believe some tuning of the shower nozzle is a must. I didn't like to see the shower nozzles being clogged from over time use. So I highly recommend getting them cleaned. I think adding a lavender scent in to bathroom would be most pleasing but ask first before doing so. People do have a sensitive smell. But it would greatly improve the experience they have in the room.

  • Superb – Natallia from Belarus – 28 August 2025 (9/10)

    Perfect breakfast and great location
