The bathroom’s nothing special, but it’s clean and the water pressure’s reliable.

Practical Considerations

The parking situation is pretty straightforward if you’re driving — they have spaces available, though Milan traffic is… well, it’s Milan traffic. What I really appreciated was how quiet the building stays at night, despite being in the city. The Wi-Fi actually works properly throughout the building, which seems basic but you’d be surprised how many places get this wrong. There’s no on-site restaurant, but honestly, with that kitchenette and the neighborhood options, you don’t really need one.

Look, this isn’t going to be the most Instagram-worthy hotel you’ll ever stay at, but it gets the fundamentals right. The staff remembers your name, the space gives you room to spread out, and you’re living like a local rather than a tourist. For the price point, it’s solid value — especially if you’re planning a longer stay or traveling with family. I’d come back, and that’s saying something for a practical traveler like me.

  I liked the retro feel of the hotel. The room was spacious, there was air conditioning (though very loud). The kitchenette could have been better equipped, but overall it was fine. Location was great for transports and there was a shop close-by but the area wasn't very nice.
  
  What could be improved: When we arrived the bathroom smelled bad and there were some pieces of hair in the sink and toilet, even on the wall, so a little better cleaning, and maybe providing an air freshener for the bathroom would be nice.

  What could be improved: The area in general in the outskirts of Millan is a little run down, it could use some repairs – it doesn't mean I didn't like it, but the area around the hotel should have the sideways fixed, so it would be easier to navigate with a babycarrige.
