Kibilù – Via Casati 32 – Stazione Centrale – Corso Buenos Aires – Shopping Area Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Kibilù – Via Casati 32 – Stazione Centrale – Corso Buenos Aires – Shopping Area, you immediately get the sense that this four-star property knows exactly what it’s doing. The entrance on Via Felice Casati feels refreshingly understated — no flashy lobby trying too hard to impress, just clean lines and that effortless Italian style that somehow makes everything look more sophisticated than it probably should.

Location Magic

Here’s what I love about this spot in Milan — you’re literally steps from Stazione Centrale, which means you can hop off the Malpensa Express and be checking in within minutes. But honestly, the real magic happens when you realize Corso Buenos Aires is right there. I mean, we’re talking about one of Europe’s longest shopping streets, and you can just wander out for an espresso and end up with bags full of finds you didn’t even know you needed. The location score of 8.9 isn’t just numbers on a screen — it actually reflects how ridiculously well-connected this place is to everything that matters in the city.

The Room Experience

The room design strikes this perfect balance between modern comfort and Italian sensibility. You know what surprised me? The attention to lighting — there are actually enough outlets where you need them, and the bedside setup doesn’t make you choose between charging your phone and having decent reading light. The bathrooms are compact but thoughtfully laid out, with that European efficiency that somehow feels more spacious than it should. Everything feels fresh and well-maintained, which isn’t always a given at this price point.

Neighborhood Vibes

The Stazione Centrale area gets a bad rap sometimes, but honestly, this particular stretch feels completely different. Via Casati has this residential quality that makes you feel like you’re staying in an actual neighborhood rather than just tourist central. There’s a great little restaurant around the corner that locals actually frequent — always a good sign — and the morning walk to grab pastries becomes part of the whole Milan experience. Plus, being this close to the metro means you’re never more than 15 minutes from wherever you actually want to be.

Why Guests Love It

Couples seem to really connect with this place, and I get why — there’s something about the scale and atmosphere that feels intimate without being cramped. The staff has that Italian warmth that makes check-in feel more like a conversation than a transaction, and they actually know the neighborhood well enough to point you toward hidden gems rather than just the obvious tourist spots. It’s the kind of place where you end up extending your stay not because the hotel itself is life-changing, but because it makes exploring Milan feel so effortless that you don’t want the experience to end.

Reviews of Kibilù – Via Casati 32 – Stazione Centrale – Corso Buenos Aires – Shopping Area

  • Very good – Sanchez from Spain – 24 November 2025 (8/10)

What could be improved: Las instrucciones de la utilización de las llaves sólo las mandan en inglés

  • Comfortable, central, cosy, easy access to tourist sites and local restaurants. Fully recommended! – Maria from Poland – 11 November 2025 (10/10)

Fully equipped, very peaceful and comfy appartment in a lovely, central location! Few steps away from Republicca train&Metro station, easy acces to all Milano sights (and also – direct train to Pavia, for example!), also very easy to Malpensa (direct train to/from central station, which is around 7 mins walking from the appartment). The area is full of amazing restaurants, we never walked more than 5 minutes to have some great food experience. It's not as fancy as Brera, but very safe (which is amazing so close to the central train station), feels local and convenient!

What could be improved: There was a bit of a hustle with entering the appartment – thankfully we were sent a very detailed instructions, including youtube videos – at first I found them excessive – they weren't:D We wouldn't find the appartment without them! I also am not a fan with locking and unlocking the door via the website – keys would be much more convenient, especially that we have been given the regular keys to the main gate anyway. Last, minor thing – the appartment is on the ground floor and the process of garbage collection was really loud – nothing you can really do about it, just mind that during the weekday you may be woken up quite early (otherwise it's extremely quiet there!) As you can see- all minor things, really!

  • Un logement confortable et de qualité, très bien placé ! – Pierre from France – 26 October 2025 (8/10)

    l'emplacement et le confort

What could be improved: un peu compliqué de récupérer les clefs

  • Superb – Patcharin from Thailand – 18 September 2025 (9/10)

Bedroom has big wardrobe and cupboards
    Bed is large & comfortable
Bathroom is nice and quite big
Kitchen is fully equipped with big fridge.

What could be improved: the key app is in Italian and you need to have an Internet connection to open it.
The room is in the other building, you have to lift your luggagaes up on the 10-steps-stairs before getting to the other lift of your building

  • Ubicación y confort – Simón from Spain – 27 July 2024 (9/10)

What could be improved: En general bastante bien.

  • Superb – Larissa from Germany – 8 June 2024 (9/10)

    Alles nötige vorhanden, groß genug

What could be improved: Etwas komplizierter Abschliessung der Türen

  • Nice apartment, but a very stressful registration and check-in process. – Crystal from Australia – 13 May 2024 (5/10)

Comfortable and very well appointed apartment! Everything was clean and the kitchen is very well equipped.

What could be improved: Sometime before the booking I was sent a request to fill out an extremely lengthy online check-in form which included a requirement that I sign a contract that to me seemed more fitting for a long-term rental contract (for a 3 day stay). I also had to pay an additional Euro 200 deposit, which was returned a full week after check-out and (probably due to exchange rate fluctuations) was not fully repaid. The whole process seemed a bit excessive, and time consuming, for a 3 day stay! Note also that the fees do not include an extra city tax, that you have to pay as part of the online check-in process.

Secondly, the online instructions to access the apartment were extremely lengthy and difficult to follow (impossible if you don't have internet). The apartment is not easy to access and perhaps would be easier to pay the additional fee to have someone meet you at the entrance and guide you through the process. Although the apartment itself is nice, if you tend to get stressed or confused by lengthy instructions I would nor recommend this apartment.
Also locked myself out in the adjacent courtyard as didn't realize there was no key for the door that led out to the courtyard – I had to wait for someone to bring out the rubbish before I could enter another part of the building (which is a bit of a maze!)

  • I recommend it and we will definitely use it next time – Zofia from United Kingdom – 1 January 2024 (10/10)

well-kept, clean apartment, close to the Milano Centrale station, and about a 40-minute walk to the Duomo cathedral. restaurants and shops also close to home 🙂

What could be improved: I have no objections

  • Bad experience – Gabriel from United Kingdom – 25 February 2023 (2/10)

    We like location

What could be improved: Building is renovation,so much noise from 7 cl so bad
    Not so clean
    Not what I expected
I really don't recommend to nobody

  • would love to stay again – Bhavesh from India – 17 February 2023 (8/10)

    spacious for three people

What could be improved: just the entrance is quite tricky rest everything is great
