La Dolce Vita – Buenos Aires Overview
First Impressions
La Dolce Vita – Buenos Aires might have an Italian name that hints at Rome, but don’t let that fool you — this apartment-style accommodation sits right in Milan’s bustling Stazione Centrale district. Walking up to the second floor on Via Ruggero Boscovich, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from the industrial-looking building, but sometimes the best places hide in plain sight. The entrance feels more like stepping into someone’s stylish home than a typical hotel lobby.
Location & Getting Around
You know what’s brilliant about staying here? Milan‘s main train station is literally a five-minute walk away, which means you can dump your bags and be exploring the Duomo within twenty minutes. The neighborhood itself is pretty authentic — not touristy at all, really. There’s this fantastic local market just around the corner where I grabbed fresh fruit every morning, and the metro connections are so good that nowhere in the city feels far away.
The Space
Each unit comes with a proper kitchen setup, which saved me a fortune on dining out (though Milan’s restaurant scene is tempting, I’ll give you that). The room I stayed in was surprisingly spacious for European standards — you can actually open your suitcase without doing yoga moves around the bed. The decor strikes this nice balance between modern functionality and Italian warmth, with decent natural light streaming through large windows that face the courtyard.
Practical Details
The four-star rating feels spot-on for what you get here. There’s reliable WiFi throughout, air conditioning that actually works (crucial during Milan’s summer months), and the building stays refreshingly quiet despite being close to the train station. Parking isn’t included, but honestly, you won’t need a car in this part of town — everything’s accessible by foot or public transport. The staff speaks solid English and they’re genuinely helpful with local recommendations, not just the standard tourist traps.
Why Guests Love It
With an 8.7 rating, this place clearly does something right, and I think it comes down to hitting that sweet spot between independence and service. You get the freedom of having your own space with a functional kitchenette, but there’s still someone to call if the WiFi acts up or you need extra towels. It’s perfect for travelers who want to experience Milan like a temporary resident rather than just passing through. The value proposition is solid too — you’re paying for location and comfort without the premium that comes with staying in the fashion district.
Early hotels booking in Milan secures opera tickets, rooftop bar nights, and private Italian cooking class sessions.

Reviews of La Dolce Vita – Buenos Aires
Nice space for a group. – Antonietta from Australia – 9 November 2025 (9/10)
Nice place, close to a train station, lovely to have a balcony in the middle room, also great to have a washing machine!
What could be improved: The door was a little difficult to open, even with the instructions.
We left our bags in our room on our last morning and got locked out of the room despite returning before the checkout time. There was no one who could help us get back in and this delay almost made us late for our next transport.Exceptional – Vali from Romania – 1 September 2025 (10/10)
Both the apartment and the host have been incredible!
Exceptional – Muratbek from Turkey – 11 May 2024 (10/10)
Nice property with great location
Exceptional – Seifert from Italy – 18 March 2024 (10/10)
An incredible apartment, very comfortable, gigantic rooms, everything perfect
Good value apartment in a great location – Michele from Italy – 6 February 2024 (8/10)
Great location: two minutes walk from Lima Metro Station, great area for shopping and restaurants. It's a lovely big apartment, essential but with everything in it. Three large bedrooms, one bathroom with a very comfortable shower, and a kitchen with all you need to store or prepare food if you wish. The management is very reactive and kind.
What could be improved: We had some minor issues with understanding how their automatic lock works. That might be explained better.Exceptional – Gokberk from Turkey – 18 October 2023 (10/10)
Very comfortable apartment for a family or group of colleagues. It is easy to check-in, owner provides every piece of information.
Rooms, bathroom and kitchen area were all clean.
What could be improved: N/AConvenient to major transport – Phil_malone from Australia – 3 October 2023 (9/10)
Great location to the transport facilities we needed (rail station), yet still within walking distance of the Duomo plaza. Good cafe downstairs at doorstep.
What could be improved: NothingSpacious apartment in a great location – Nat from Australia – 29 September 2023 (9/10)
This apartment had spacious rooms and was conveniently located.
Lots of great shopping nearby and very close to the red metro line.
Just to be aware of if you have large luggage: there is a small flight of stairs you must go up before reaching the lift (which we have noted to be common in Italy, but these ones thankfully weren't super narrow or steep like other apartments we stayed at).
Also be aware the key system relies on having internet each time you wish to enter.
What could be improved: Unfortunately the hot water heater stopped working on our last night, but our host received automatic notification about it before we even noticed our hot water had run out, so I imagine it has since been fixed after our stay.
Would be ideal if the bathroom had a fan. It’s very nice place to stay. We have a great stay even just for one night. – Avegail from Italy – 8 August 2023 (10/10)
It’s so spacious and so clean. And it has a great location.
