Leonardo Duplex Apartment Overview
First Impressions
The Leonardo Duplex Apartment sits right on Corso Magenta, which honestly feels like stumbling into one of Milan’s best-kept secrets. I mean, you’re literally steps from the Santa Maria delle Grazie — you know, where Da Vinci’s Last Supper lives — but without the tourist chaos that usually comes with prime locations. The building itself has that understated Milanese elegance, nothing flashy, just solid and welcoming in that effortless Italian way.
The Space
What caught me off guard was how spacious this apartment actually feels. The duplex layout gives you room to breathe, which is rare in Milan’s city center. The kitchen is properly equipped — not just some token kitchenette — so you can actually cook if you want to save a few euros or just prefer your morning coffee made your way. The living area flows naturally into the sleeping space, and there’s something refreshingly homey about it all.
Location Perks
Here’s what I love about this spot: you’re walking distance to the Duomo, but you’re not dealing with the crowds every time you step outside. Corso Magenta has this lovely neighborhood vibe with local cafés and shops that locals actually use. The Cadorna station is close enough that you can easily hop on the Malpensa Express, which is clutch when you’re dealing with flight schedules.
Practical Considerations
Look, this is a three-star place, so don’t expect marble bathrooms or 24-hour room service. What you get instead is solid value and a genuine Milan experience. The room is clean and comfortable, the Wi-Fi works reliably, and there’s enough space to actually unpack your suitcase — small things that matter when you’re staying more than a night or two. The neighborhood has several good dining options within a few blocks, from casual trattorias to more upscale spots.
Why Guests Love It
This place works because it feels less like a hotel and more like borrowing a friend’s apartment in Milan. You’re not just visiting the city — you’re actually living in it for a while. The duplex setup gives couples or small families room to spread out, and being on Corso Magenta means you’re connected to everything without being overwhelmed by it. It’s the kind of place where you might find yourself making coffee in the morning and planning your day like a temporary local, which is exactly what makes Milan worth visiting in the first place.

Location was ideal for our requirements. It was comfortable and the host was very nice. Plenty of towels, spacious and central apartment.
What could be improved: Wi-Fi dipped when not in the living room.
There was a smell of cigarette smoke- maybe from a neighbouring flat? I know it’s not the owners faultVery good!!! – Francisco from United States – 11 October 2025 (9/10)

+ location was amazing
+ personal was great
+ You can't hear the outside, I don't know how it is possible, but we were amazed
What could be improved: – the bathroom on the ground level is so small, that If you weight more than 100 kg, you will simply not fit in 😀
– it looks like a new apartment, but it is not, the beds, doors, kitchen items we're are kinda old or broken, so be aware of thatCentrally located, great accommodations – Gail from United States – 7 April 2025 (9/10)

the location was great! literally a 10 minute walk from Duomo and had the cutest cafes and restaurants nearby. A highly rated sandwich shop was right by the entrance to the apartment too.
The location wasn’t too touristy and I felt right at home as soon as I entered the property!
the place itself was very clean and the host was quick to respond too and was also really helpful ◡̈
