Tucked into a residential building on Via Roberto Lepetit, this four-star gem doesn’t scream “hotel” from the outside — which is exactly why I love it. You buzz in like you’re visiting a friend’s apartment, then step into this beautifully designed space that feels more like a boutique hideaway than a traditional hotel.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s what’s brilliant about this spot — you’re a genuine ten-minute walk from Milano Centrale station, but you’re not dealing with all the tourist chaos right outside your door. The Stazione Centrale neighborhood gets a bad rap sometimes, but honestly, this particular street is quiet and residential. I actually enjoyed the short stroll to the station in the mornings, grabbing an espresso from the corner bar that clearly caters to locals, not travelers.

Getting into central Milan is ridiculously easy from here. The metro connections at Centrale get you anywhere — Duomo in fifteen minutes, Navigli for dinner, or even straight to Malpensa if you’re catching a flight. You know what I mean about location being everything? This nails it without the premium price tag.

The Room Experience

My room was essentially a compact apartment — and I mean that in the most flattering way possible. The design is sleek and modern, with this clever use of space that makes everything feel bigger than it actually is. The kitchenette was surprisingly well-equipped; I ended up making coffee there most mornings instead of hunting for cafés (though Milan’s café scene is obviously worth exploring too).

Service & Atmosphere

The Welcomely team runs a tight ship here. Check-in was smooth, they actually remembered my name when I passed through the lobby, and — this might sound small — but they kept the common areas spotless without being intrusive about it. There’s no fancy restaurant or spa services, which keeps costs reasonable, but they’ve partnered with local spots for recommendations that felt genuinely useful rather than just promotional.

Why Guests Love It

Look, if you want marble lobbies and doormen in white gloves, this isn’t your place. But if you appreciate smart design, a genuine neighborhood feel, and staff who seem to actually care about your experience, Lepetit 3 delivers. The 9.2 rating makes perfect sense once you’re there — it’s the kind of place where everything just works without any fuss. I’d definitely book it again, especially knowing how easy it makes getting around Milan while giving you a proper place to decompress at the end of long sightseeing days.

  нам нужно было остановиться рядом с железнодорожны вокзалом, поэтому выбрали эти апартаменты.
  Чисто, кондиционеры работают, кухня оборудована посудой, персонал был на связи, заселение по простой и понятной видеоинструкции.

  Great location and very caring and accommodating hosts. Electricity blacked out the last night when we got back and the host refunded us the last night.
