The entrance is understated — no flashy signs or marble columns — but that’s actually part of its charm. This four-star property feels more like a well-kept secret than a typical business hotel, which is refreshing in a city where so many places try too hard to impress.

Location & Getting Around

You’re about a ten-minute walk from Milano Centrale station, which sounds far but really isn’t — especially when you consider how much quieter it is here compared to the chaos right around the terminal. The Porta Venezia metro stop is even closer, maybe five minutes on foot, and from there you can get anywhere in Milan pretty easily. What I really appreciated was being near Corso Buenos Aires, one of Europe’s longest shopping streets, without actually being on it and dealing with all the foot traffic.

The Room Experience

My room was on the fourth floor — compact but thoughtfully designed with clean lines and neutral colors that somehow felt calming after a long day of sightseeing. The air conditioning actually worked (not always a given in European hotels), and the Wi-Fi was solid throughout my stay. The bathroom was modern with a decent shower, though you know what? The water pressure could’ve been stronger, but I’ve definitely stayed in pricier places with worse setups.

Breakfast & Amenities

Breakfast happens in a bright ground-floor space that feels more like a neighborhood café than a hotel dining room. Nothing fancy — your standard continental spread with decent coffee, fresh pastries, and the usual cold cuts and cheeses. The staff actually remembered how I liked my cappuccino after the second morning, which was a nice touch. There’s also a small fitness area if you’re into that sort of thing, though I’ll be honest — I barely glanced at it.

What really sets this place apart is the staff’s approach — they’re helpful without being overly formal, and they seem to genuinely care about making your stay work. The front desk gave me solid recommendations for dinner spots that weren’t just tourist traps, and when I needed to store my luggage after checkout, it wasn’t a big production. For the price point, especially considering Milan’s generally expensive hotel scene, the Napoleon delivers exactly what you’d want: a comfortable base that doesn’t eat up your entire travel budget but doesn’t feel like you’re roughing it either.

  The hotel was overall excellent – very clean and comfortable. A special thanks to Oleg at the reception, who was extremely helpful and professional throughout our stay. The breakfast was great, with plenty of variety and good quality.

They seemed more interested in gossiping about guests – especially couples – and commenting on what and how much people were eating. It created an unpleasant atmosphere in an otherwise great experience.

  The hotel is in a nice street in central Milano and yet quite at night. Close to metro 1. The room I had was very pleasant and well equiped . The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good and also ample choice. So all in all worth a recommendation for a business or relaxed stay at a reasonable price for Milano!
