This three-star spot sits right in the Stazione Centrale neighborhood, which means you’re literally a few minutes’ walk from Milan’s main train station. The building itself is pretty typical for this area — nothing flashy, but solid and well-maintained.

Location & Getting Around

You know what I love about staying near Stazione Centrale? Everything is just… accessible. The Metro’s right there, obviously, but you can also walk to Corso Buenos Aires for shopping in about ten minutes. Milan‘s historic center is only three stops away on the yellow line, and honestly, that beats dealing with taxis in city traffic. The neighborhood itself has this interesting mix — lots of international restaurants (the Ethiopian place around the corner is actually fantastic), plus your typical Italian bars and cafes.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was clean and functional — think modern but not trying too hard to be trendy. Air conditioning worked well (crucial in summer), and the bed was comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep after walking around the city all day. The bathroom was compact but efficiently designed, with decent water pressure. I mean, it’s not going to wow you, but everything works as it should.

Practical Considerations

One thing that really helped was having a small kitchenette — just a mini-fridge and basic setup, but perfect for keeping drinks cold and storing leftovers from Milan’s generous restaurant portions. There’s no on-site restaurant, but honestly, with all the dining options in this neighborhood, you won’t miss it. The building doesn’t have dedicated parking, which is pretty standard for central Milan, but public transport makes a car unnecessary anyway.

Look, this isn’t the kind of place you’ll be posting Instagram photos of — it’s more about location and value. The 8.2 rating makes sense when you consider what you’re paying versus where you’re staying. For travelers who want to be well-connected to both the train station and the city center without breaking the bank, it actually works really well. The staff keeps things running smoothly, and you’ll appreciate the straightforward, no-nonsense approach after a long day of sightseeing.
