Max Brown Hotel Missori, part of Sircle Collection Overview
First Impressions
Max Brown Hotel Missori, part of Sircle Collection sits on a quiet side street that most tourists walk right past — and honestly, that’s part of its charm. The building has this understated elegance that feels more like a well-kept secret than a typical four-star hotel. You know what I mean? It’s not trying too hard to impress from the outside, but once you step through those doors, there’s this immediate sense that someone really thought about every detail.
Location & Neighborhood
Via Lentasio is one of those streets that locals actually use, which means you get a real feel for Milan without the tourist crowds breathing down your neck. The Duomo is literally a five-minute walk away, but you’re tucked into this little pocket where you can actually hear yourself think. I mean, you can grab your morning coffee from the corner café and watch office workers hurrying to meetings — it’s that perfect mix of central but not chaotic.
The Room Experience
The room design is what I’d call “Milan cool” — clean lines, warm woods, and these thoughtful touches that make you want to stay in and order room service. The beds are proper comfortable (not those rock-hard European mattresses you sometimes get), and the bathrooms actually have decent water pressure. There’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped, which honestly surprised me given how compact some Milan hotels can be.
Dining & Common Spaces
The restaurant downstairs does this modern Italian thing really well — not trying to be overly fancy, just good ingredients prepared properly. Breakfast is solid too, with actual fresh pastries instead of those sad hotel croissants that taste like cardboard. The lobby area works as a decent spot to catch up on emails or have a drink, and there’s this relaxed vibe where you don’t feel like you need to whisper or dress up.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets this place apart is how it feels like it belongs in Milan rather than just being dropped here. The staff actually knows the neighborhood and can point you toward that little wine bar three blocks over or the vintage shop that’s only open on weekends. It’s the kind of place where you can walk back after a long day of sightseeing and feel like you’re coming home rather than just crashing at another hotel. Plus, the whole Sircle Collection thing means they’ve got their systems down — check-in is smooth, the Wi-Fi actually works, and nobody’s going to give you attitude if you need an extra towel.

Reviews of Max Brown Hotel Missori, part of Sircle Collection
Overall, my stay was stylish, comfortable, and memorable, despite the occasional noise. – Gabriella from South Africa – 2 December 2025 (9/10)
Max Brown Hotel in Milan is an absolute gem, perfectly blending chic design with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are stylish, comfortable, and impeccably thought out, offering one of the best night’s sleep I’ve had while travelling. The staff go above and beyond with genuine hospitality, making every interaction feel personal and memorable. Breakfast is fresh and delicious, served in a setting that feels both relaxed and beautifully curated. It’s the kind of place you instantly fall in love with and can’t wait to return to.
What could be improved: The only downside to an otherwise fantastic stay is how noisy it gets at night. The hotel’s lively surroundings and thin walls mean that street sounds and neighbouring rooms can be heard more than expected. It’s not ideal if you’re a light sleeper or looking for a completely peaceful night’s rest.Great nice staf nice room verry good breakfast. – Ad from Netherlands – 25 November 2025 (8/10)
The staff was wonderful, thy realy care. Verry friendly and helpful.
The room was verry retro in a good way. I loved the record player (it really works).
The beds are verry comfy.
And the breakfast is verry verry good. Everything was fresh and tasty.
What could be improved: There was some issue with the heating system but the staff provided us with a adequate solution. Sometimes there was some unpleasant smell in the bathroom but nothing a little spray couldn’t fix.I'll be back for sure! – Jim from Germany – 7 November 2025 (9/10)
I liked the positive atmosphere and contact with the staff, from teh counter to the cleaner to the breakfast manager.
It was clean everywhere, my room was tidy and nicely decorated with an old style gramophone. A neat gadget that caught my attention.
What could be improved: The small bathroom. It was clear alright, but I had problems with bidé when sitting on the toilet.Loved it! – Angela from Malta – 6 November 2025 (9/10)
70s decor in reception areas and bedrooms. Spacious and comfortable rooms. We had 2 intereconnecting rooms which was perfect for a family with teens.
What could be improved: The bathroom was a bit dated. My overall stay with Max Brown was a good experience and would not hesitate to stay there again. – Saraguard from United States – 2 November 2025 (9/10)
I did not purchase breakfast because I am a late riser and usually start my day with lunch.
Max Brown was a little different from hotels I usually reserve. I love the record player in the room even though I didn’t get a chance to play it. The snack area was different but nice. I purchased some candy by the pound and the candy was stale. The best part was the bed. King size is always good but in Europe single and full size beds are the norm. Also, since hotel rooms tend to be on the cold side I always ask for an extra blanket. This time I got a wonderful fluffy comforter and along with the pillows and the bed I could have spent a day in bed if I were in Milan longer. I really enjoyed the bed.
What could be improved: The bathroom sink was slow draining and filled up quickly. If the sink was cleaned regularly this would have been rectified by the time I arrived in the room. I had to alert management about the problem. Someone fixed it right away and the bathroom had a foul smell for the next two days. The soap dispensers in the shower and sink looks like they are not cleaned regularly. One small thing – I don’t know what happened but the toilet paper holder was on the bathroom floor one evening.Great location with comfy beds – Russell from United Kingdom – 14 October 2025 (7/10)
Convenient location. Bartender was very attentive.
What could be improved: AirCon in room wasnt working. Bathroom was compact but adequate.Very good – Abdulmonem from Saudi Arabia – 5 October 2025 (8/10)

The staff is AMAZING! friendliest you will ever encounter and super knowledgeable!! Great breakfast buffet and the lounge area is supper nice!
What could be improved: The bathrooms could use a bit of freshening up and the shower heads need to be made so the water doesnt spill outFresh quirky hotel, lovely staff! – Corey from United Kingdom – 10 September 2025 (9/10)
