Mornings here are peaceful because most tourists haven’t figured out this part of the city yet — they’re all rushing toward the main piazzas. The staff knows their stuff about Milan; they pointed me toward this fantastic restaurant on Via Brera that I never would’ve found otherwise. There’s no full-service spa, but honestly, you’re in Milan — you’ll be out exploring anyway. The building itself has character, with those high ceilings and marble details that remind you this city has serious architectural history.

  What could be improved: Literally the only thing was that the sink in the bathroom didn’t drain properly but also you couldn’t use the tub so only shower. But still it was a lovely bathroom.
