Milano Renovated Studio APTS Overview
First Impressions
Milano Renovated Studio APTS sits in a quiet residential area that feels refreshingly removed from the tourist chaos, yet you’re still well-connected to everything that matters in Milan. When I first walked up Via Paolo Mantegazza, I was struck by how genuinely local the neighborhood feels — you know, the kind of place where you hear Italian conversations spilling from balconies rather than tour groups chattering by. This four-star property doesn’t try to be flashy, and honestly, that’s exactly what works about it.
The Studio Setup
Each apartment here has been thoughtfully renovated with that clean, minimalist aesthetic that Milanese design does so well. The kitchen isn’t huge, but it’s actually functional — I mean, you can genuinely cook a proper meal, not just reheat leftovers. What I really appreciated was the attention to storage; there are clever built-in solutions everywhere that make the space feel larger than it is. The furnishings strike that sweet spot between contemporary and comfortable, with none of that sterile hotel feeling you sometimes get.
Location Perks
Here’s what the guidebooks won’t tell you — this area puts you close to some fantastic local spots that most visitors never discover. There’s a brilliant little mercato just a few streets over where locals do their shopping, and the nearby tram connections actually make getting into the historic center pretty straightforward. You’re also walking distance from Parco Lambro, which is perfect for morning runs if that’s your thing. The metro isn’t right at your doorstep, but the trade-off is you get to experience Milan like someone who actually lives here.
Daily Comfort
The room layouts are smart — they’ve managed to create distinct areas for sleeping, working, and relaxing without making anything feel cramped. I particularly liked how the windows let in plenty of natural light, something you don’t always get with Milan accommodations. The Wi-Fi is reliable (crucial for longer stays), and there’s decent parking available, which anyone who’s tried to drive in Milan will tell you is worth its weight in gold. Small touches like quality linens and proper blackout curtains show they’ve thought about what guests actually need.
Why Guests Love It
What sets this place apart is how it balances independence with support — you get the freedom of having your own space and kitchen, but there’s still proper service when you need it. The 8.5 rating makes complete sense once you’re here; it’s not trying to wow you with unnecessary extras, but everything that matters works well. For travelers who want to experience Milan beyond the typical hotel bubble, this gives you a genuine base in a real neighborhood while keeping you connected to the city’s main attractions.
To book a hotel in Milan during opera season, visitors plan ahead to balance La Scala performances with quiet Navigli canal strolls.

Looks as good as it does in the pictures! Building is old but the apartment is very well renovated. Heating is via an AC and worked fine, in general the building didn't seem cold. Location is good, easy to take the train/metro into the city centre.
Bathroom has a pretty big heating rack, if you are a light traveler and want to wash 2-3 things and dry them then it's very easy. Shower always had hot water, no need to wait for anything to heat up etc.
Internet is good, two people were able to work/watch youtube at the same time without issue.
