MON43 -Loreto-Duomo- Nature House – Luxury Overview
First Impressions
I’ll be honest — MON43 -Loreto-Duomo- Nature House – Luxury caught me off guard. The name suggests something grand, but this is actually a three-star property that’s more about charm than flash. Located on a quiet residential street in Milan, it feels like you’re staying in someone’s thoughtfully designed home rather than a typical hotel. The building itself has that understated Milanese elegance you see throughout the city’s residential neighborhoods.
Location & Getting Around
Via Angelo Mosso isn’t exactly in the tourist handbook, but that’s part of what I liked about it. You’re in a real Milan neighborhood where locals actually live and work. The Loreto metro station is about a 10-minute walk, which puts you two stops from the Duomo — not bad at all. I found myself walking through tree-lined streets that most visitors never see, past small cafes and corner shops that have been serving the same families for decades.
The Space
What you get here is more like an apartment than a traditional hotel room. There’s a proper kitchen with everything you need if you want to cook — I actually picked up ingredients from the local market and made breakfast a couple of mornings. The design leans modern but not sterile, with touches that make it feel lived-in rather than staged. Honestly, after a few days of typical hotel rooms elsewhere in Italy, this felt refreshingly normal.
Practical Matters
The 7.5 rating seems about right — it’s solid without being spectacular. You won’t find a concierge or room service, but the basics are all covered well. There’s decent Wi-Fi, the shower has good pressure, and the beds are comfortable enough that I actually slept through the night (which doesn’t always happen when I travel). Parking can be tricky in this area, so if you’re driving, plan accordingly.
Why It Works
Look, this isn’t going to be everyone’s cup of tea. If you want marble lobbies and turndown service, keep looking. But if you’re the type who prefers experiencing a city like a temporary resident rather than a tourist, MON43 hits the sweet spot. The price point makes sense for what you get, and there’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that doesn’t try to be more than it is. Plus, you’ll have stories about the “real” Milan that most travelers miss entirely.

Reviews of MON43 -Loreto-Duomo- Nature House – Luxury
Nice accommodation – Antonina from Serbia – 28 November 2025 (10/10)
Everything was fine, hosts are very helpful and nice, interior is also very modern.
What could be improved: The only disadvantage would be the digital key for unlocking the door, because it requires internet and sometimes it can be tricky, but luckily wifi can be reached in front of the door.Disappointing – Jacek from Poland – 23 November 2025 (4/10)
What could be improved: Mega grzyb w łazience – samo to powinno już dyskwalifikować ten obiekt. Ogłoszenie mówi o dostępności ekspresu do kawy. Deska do prasowania to jakiś żart.
Very good – Maria from Spain – 15 August 2025 (8/10)
Lo moderno que es, la iluminación genial, la instalación de la cocina genial
What could be improved: La cama no es muy cómoda. En el aseo falta espacio para poner tus cosas, en la cocina falta una tostadoraExceptional – Buzayu from Spain – 7 March 2025 (10/10)
Duplex bastante bien calidad precio!

Couchage agréable et propre .

Qualité prix topAbsolutely terrible communication with the owner. The – Hoang from Netherlands – 2 October 2024 (2/10)
The only good thing is it is fairly close to the city center
What could be improved: 1. The door opening link did not work. We had to stand under heavy rain and cold for over half an hour. Only when a neighbor came to let us in we can get inside the apartment. This is the worst experience we ever face, there is no support from the owner on how to get us in, we fully had to rely on luck.
2. The bed sits on the glass floor and there is a very big crack on it, it is extremely dangerous and unsafe for anyone to stay with, we were very afraid sleeping there.
3. The wooden dining chair is broken badly, my old mother almost fell while she was just about to sit on it.
4. There are lots of molds in the bathroom and next to the washing machine, making the room always smells very uncomfortable.
5. The hairdryer has a split on the plastic cover, you can see the wires and parts inside, we were worried of being electrocuted while using it.Cute little apartment, perfect for couples – Erin from United Kingdom – 14 July 2024 (10/10)
The aesthetic of the apartment is beautiful. Very modern and very sleek. It was also very clean and well cared for and very worthy of the price I paid. There was air con, a coffee machine (with a pod for each day we stayed), dish washer (and tablets), washing machine (and detergent), airer, fridge freezer, microwave, oven, stove, iron and board and a hairdryer. There was also mini shampoos and soap bars. Essentially everything we could need for our stay. The location was ideal for us, it was about a 10 minute walk to either Turro metro station or Rovereto for the M1 like that went direct to the Duomo and had some other major links so was really good.
What could be improved: There was no wi-fi information available despite there being an ethernet port. The TV remote was also missing so despite us bringing a laptop and HDMI (that I accidentally left there plugged in) we were unable to use the TV anyway. I had seen some other reviews mention the lack of utensils and pots and pans which is true so maybe if you’re planning on staying a while this may be an issue but it wasn’t a problem for us as we mainly ate out. And one major thing was the rationed toilet paper. The staff didn’t enter the apartment whilst we were there so there’s no cleaning service (not an issue for us as we only stayed 4 nights) but it does mean the toilet paper that is there when we arrive is all we get which was 1 full roll and the last bits of another. I would say to leave a basket of toilet paper either by the washing machine or in a cupboard just so people who stay don’t have to buy their own.Exceptional – Valeri from Estonia – 25 June 2024 (10/10)
