The bathroom was modern without trying too hard, and the air conditioning worked properly, which during Milan’s humid summers is honestly a blessing.

Getting Around and Practicalities

The metro connection is solid — Porta Garibaldi station gets you to the Duomo in about fifteen minutes, and to Navigli for dinner and drinks in roughly the same time. There’s parking available if you’re driving, though I’d honestly recommend using Milan’s public transport instead. The area has some decent local spots for meals, including a little trattoria two blocks over that the hotel staff actually recommended (and it wasn’t touristy nonsense, which was refreshing).
