The Porta Garibaldi train station is just a few minutes’ walk, which actually makes getting to both Malpensa and the city center ridiculously easy.

The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d expect from a design-focused hotel — clean lines, thoughtful lighting, and furniture that looks like it belongs in a showroom but is surprisingly comfortable. Each apartment-style unit comes with a proper kitchenette, which is perfect if you’ve picked up ingredients from the nearby markets or just want to make coffee the way you like it. The beds are seriously good, and the bathrooms have this minimalist Italian style that somehow makes everything feel more spacious.

Neighborhood Gems

Here’s something the guidebooks won’t tell you — some of Milan’s best aperitivo spots are within walking distance of this place. The Brera district is close enough for an evening stroll, but you’re also near Corso Como, where locals actually go for drinks. There’s this little restaurant around the corner that does incredible risotto, and honestly, staying in Sempione means you’ll stumble across places like this that tourists rarely find.

  What could be improved: We had a problem with Electronic lock, the owner did not help us, we needed to figure out ourselves how to get in in the evening. Just stopped answearing my messages. Told me i should take the Keys that Were in the House but guess what, there Were no keys! Next day the cleaning lady left us the keys but we still couldnt get in because of the lock. Disaster!! Second bed in living room is terrible, you can hear the neighbourhoods and cant sleep. There was a dishwasher but no pods to run it.

  The location was very central, it was suitable for a family and all facilities were present.
  
  What could be improved: Neighbours were very loud until 4am and did not stop even after complaining to them and to concierge. Some of the bedding were stained and couldn’t wash because the door of the washing machine was broken so couldn’t use it and no parking for the car had to pay a quite expensive fee to stay there for a week.

  A very nice and welcoming apartment. The bed and extendible sofa were both comfy. Smart TV with apps such as Netflix, Disney and AppleTV when you get bored. A market is situated near the block, so you don’t need to walk a lot if you need a thing or two. Located not far from the metro and pretty close to several tourist attractions. The apartment is only 30/40 minutes away from the center, so you can have a relaxing walk and enjoy the beautiful streets. If you want to visit Milan with your family, your friends or with your lover, this place is worth staying in.
