First Impressions

When I first walked up to Moscova Luxury B&B on Via Della Moscova, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from a B&B in central Milan. The building itself has that classic Milanese elegance — you know, the kind with those beautiful old facades that make you slow down just to appreciate the architecture. What struck me immediately was how this four-star property manages to feel both sophisticated and genuinely welcoming, which isn’t always easy to pull off in a city that can sometimes feel a bit… well, business-focused.

The location is actually brilliant if you want to experience Milan like locals do. You’re right in the Brera district, which means you can walk to the Duomo in about fifteen minutes, but you’re also surrounded by those narrow streets filled with independent boutiques and cafés that tourists often miss. I mean, there’s something special about stepping out in the morning and being able to grab an espresso at a neighborhood bar where the barista remembers your order by day three.

The Room Experience

My room had this perfect balance of modern comfort and Italian style that made me want to extend my stay. The beds are seriously comfortable — I’m talking about the kind of sleep quality that makes you question your mattress choices at home. Each room feels more like a carefully curated apartment than a typical hotel space, with thoughtful touches like locally sourced toiletries and that soft lighting that somehow makes everyone look better in the mirror.

Breakfast and Beyond

The breakfast situation here is where this place really shines, honestly. It’s not some massive buffet setup, but rather a carefully prepared selection that changes based on what’s fresh and seasonal. The staff — and I think this makes all the difference — actually seem to care about what you’re eating and drinking. There’s also a cozy common area where you might find yourself chatting with other guests, which sounds forced but somehow happens naturally here.

  All I can say is wow. The b&b exceeded my expectations:
  1. Location – perfect – 7 minutes to Brera, 20 minutes to Duomo.
  2. Room – has everything, including fridge with soft drinks, yogurt, etc. Bed was comfortable as well as pillows. The design is nice. There was everything necessary in the room.
  3. B&b has nice common area where you can have a coffee, banana, cookies and even wine.
  4. Service – impeccable. Lorenzo is very attentive and helpfull. He did everything to make the stay as nice as it can be.
  5. Breakfast – Italian breakfast (delicious fresh pastry and coffee) is really good, and if you prefer more substantial breakfast you can add 5 euro and have eggs, pancakes, etc.

  We had an amazing stay at Moscova Luxury B&B in Milan! Lorenzo was a fantastic host—warm, helpful, and always making sure we had everything we needed. The apartments were spacious, clean, and perfect for our group of six during our two-night stay for the game.
  
  The atmosphere was great, the beer was cold and excellent, and the breakfast each morning was a perfect start to the day. The location is also ideal for exploring the city.
  
  We couldn’t have asked for a better place or a better host. Highly recommended—would definitely stay here again!

  It was a large nice space of 2 rooms – lounge area and bedroom. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was nice and spacious with some toiletries. The room fridge had drinks, yoghurt, cold meats. The main kitchen and main lounge area (which you shared with another apartment) had extra supplies like bottles of water and soft drink. There were also snacks and fruit and croissants that were available too. There was a welcome bottle of wine.
  
  What could be improved: Advertised as deluxe balcony. But not a real balcony in my opinion, just doors that opened up with a railing. View was into the inner courtyard/carpark. Not really a dislike, however should be explained exactly what it entailed, but the included breakfast was at a nearby cafe and consisted of a juice, hot beverage and a pastry – if you wanted a hot breakfast it was an extra 5 euro.

  We had a fantastic stay — the room was comfortable, clean, spacious, and fully equipped. The building was in a great location: a 15-minute walk to Milano Porta Garibaldi station and a 20-minute walk to Piazza del Duomo. You could walk everywhere! Lorenzo, our contact, was very kind and gave us a list of recommended restaurants that were all delicious. To sum it up, it was great!

  I had an amazing stay (unfortunately it was just over night). The host was exceptionally friendly and eager to provide all the support I needed. The room was spotless and very comfortable, with thoughtful extras like snacks, drinks, and fresh fruit. The host even arranged a parking spot for me in a garage just across the street. Overall, everything was perfect — highly recommended.

  The accommodation is great. So many extra treats available and the host Lorenzo went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. Breakfast was served at a nearby cafe as well as what was available in the kitchen area. Even wine and beer available for guests. The bathroom supplies were luxurious. Everything was marvellous and close to vibrant restaurants. Easy walking distance to Duomo and shopping. Loved our stay in Milan!
