The apartment puts you right in the middle of all this action, which means you can stumble back from dinner without worrying about last trains or expensive taxi rides. I mean, some of Milan’s best aperitivo spots are literally a two-minute walk away.

The Space Itself

What really impressed me was how thoughtfully designed everything is inside. The room feels more like a proper Milan pied-à-terre than typical hotel accommodation — there’s actual character here. The kitchen isn’t just some token setup either; it’s properly equipped, which comes in handy when you want to grab fresh ingredients from the nearby Porta Genova market and cook something simple. The whole place has this modern-meets-classic Milan aesthetic that somehow manages to feel both sophisticated and comfortable.

Getting Around

Location-wise, you’re brilliantly positioned — Porta Genova station is close enough that reaching the Duomo or Brera takes maybe fifteen minutes on the metro. But honestly, I found myself walking everywhere because Milan’s city center is surprisingly compact, and the route from Navigli takes you through some of the city’s most interesting streets. Plus, there’s decent parking nearby if you’re driving, though I’d honestly recommend against it given how well-connected everything is on foot and by public transport.

Why Guests Love It

That 9.2 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve stayed here — it’s the kind of place that gets the balance right between authentic Milan living and tourist practicality. You’re not isolated in some business district hotel, but you’re also not roughing it in a questionable neighborhood. The Navigli area gives you this perfect mix of local culture, excellent dining, and easy access to all the major sights. After spending a few nights here, I actually started thinking about longer stays in Milan, which says something about how comfortable and genuinely livable this place feels.

  Good location and comfortable place
  Just the very noisy neighbours above our bedroom someone was walking up and down and make noise with the man door.
  
  What could be improved: Noise at 6am from the neighbours above also the owner state we listen loud music which isn’t true at all we play music on our phones.

  L’appartamento si trova in un’ottima posizione, a 5 minuti a piedi dalla metro De Amicis, linea M4 e poco distante da supermercati, negozi ecc.
  Attrezzato con tutto l’essenziale (frigo, macchina da caffè, stoviglie)due comode camere da letto e bagno spazioso.
  Apprezzato il check-in “a distanza” e la comunicazione con i gestori.
  Sicuramente super consigliato!
  
  What could be improved: Le camere affacciano su una strada che già dalle prime ore del mattino è molto trafficata.
  
  Qualche consiglio: necessario qualche appendi asciugamani in più in bagno, necessario quando il soggiorno è di più persone e possibilità di regolare la temperatura interna del riscaldamento.

  Appartamento molto bello e moderno, pulitissimo e in un’ottima posizione. Non mancava davvero nulla: cucina completa di ogni utensile, asciugamani, bagno schiuma e tutto il necessario. Super confortevole, perfetto per un soggiorno piacevole e senza pensieri!

  Awesome location, short walk to subway and close to restaurants as well as a small supermarket. Host was very helpful providing super easy, contactless check-in. Apartment itself was really nice, modern and exceeded expectations.
