These aren’t your typical hotel rooms — they’re proper studio apartments that give you actual living space. Each apartment comes with a compact but well-equipped kitchenette, which honestly saved me quite a bit on meals (Milan can get pricey, you know). The furnishings are modern and clean, nothing fancy but everything works perfectly. What I really appreciated was how quiet they managed to keep things despite being in such a lively area — good windows make all the difference.

Location & Neighborhood

You know what’s great about staying in Navigli? You get to experience Milan like locals do, not just as a tourist passing through. The famous canals are right outside your door, and the evening aperitivo scene is something else entirely. During the day, it’s surprisingly peaceful — you can actually hear yourself think while having coffee at one of the nearby cafés. The tram connections are excellent too, so getting to the Duomo or other central attractions takes maybe fifteen minutes.

Practical Matters

The four-star rating feels accurate — this isn’t about marble lobbies or fancy amenities, but about getting the essentials right. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff genuinely seemed to care about making sure I had everything I needed. There’s no on-site restaurant, but with Navigli’s incredible food scene literally on your doorstep, that’s hardly a problem. Actually, I’d say it’s better this way — you’re forced to explore the neighborhood instead of staying cooped up in a hotel bubble.

Why Guests Love It

The 8.8 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve stayed here. It’s not trying to be something it’s not — just well-designed studios in an unbeatable location at a reasonable price point. The independence of having your own space, combined with being able to walk to some of Milan’s best nightlife, creates this perfect balance between comfort and adventure. Plus, there’s something satisfying about brewing your morning coffee while watching the neighborhood wake up outside your window.

  I had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Milan. The location was perfect, the place was very clean, and it had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It was also very easy to get there and check in. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Milan!
  
  What could be improved: If you have a late flight and need to check out earlier, there’s no place to leave your luggage. You have to take all your stuff with you, as they don’t offer any option for luggage storage. This made things quite uncomfortable on my last day.

  Excellent location, 1 min from the metro and right in the heart of Navigli.
  
  Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The complimentary bottle of wine and water, as well as free breakfast at a nearby cafe were great! Although we didn’t need it for our short stay, there is a full kitchen and amenities included too. AC was a lifesaver in the July heat!
