Here’s what I really appreciated — you’re literally minutes from Linate Airport, but you don’t feel trapped in some sterile airport bubble. The hotel sits in this interesting spot where you can actually walk to some decent local spots if you’ve got time to kill. Milan city center is about 20 minutes away by taxi, which isn’t bad at all. The area around Via Mecenate has a few genuine Italian cafes and trattorias, so you’re not stuck with just hotel dining.

The Room Experience

My room was on the sixth floor with a view toward the city — nothing spectacular, but clean and functional in that reliable Novotel way. The bed was actually comfortable (airport hotels can be hit-or-miss on this), and the bathroom had good water pressure. What I liked most was the soundproofing — you’d expect plane noise being so close to Linate, but honestly, it wasn’t an issue at all.

Dining and Amenities

The restaurant downstairs serves decent international fare with some Italian touches. I mean, it’s not going to blow you away, but the pasta was respectable and they know how to make a proper espresso. There’s also a fitness center that’s small but well-equipped, and honestly, after a long flight, it felt good to stretch out on their machines. The parking situation is straightforward too — they’ve got their own garage, which saves you the headache of figuring out airport parking rates.

Look, this isn’t a destination hotel, but it does exactly what it promises really well. The staff genuinely seems to understand that most guests are either rushing to catch flights or just want to decompress after traveling. They’re efficient without being cold, and I noticed they go out of their way to help with taxi bookings and early breakfast requests. For a stopover or if you need to be near Linate early in the morning, you know what — this place just works without any drama.

  We chose the hotel because it’s close to Fabrique, where we attended a concert, and the location was perfect for that.
  The room was clean, quiet and comfortable — ideal after a late night out.
  
  What could be improved: Overall we enjoyed our stay, but for a standard hotel located on the outskirts of the city, the price felt a bit high.
  It would be great if the rates were more in line with the area and the type of property.

  The proximity to Fabrique. The 27 tram stop and the ease of getting to the Duomo.
  
  The rooms are a good size, very clean and comfortable. They are also quite quiet.
  
  The breakfast is very good quality, and all the bar, housekeeping and restaurant staff were fabulous.
  
  What could be improved: The check-in process
  
  I marked the staff based on a poor check in experience. There was a free person, but she asked if we could go to her colleague. The colleague was talking to another colleague, when we approached them, they looked at us, but continued their conversation for at least 5 more minutes, at no point did the person on the check out acknowledge us, or ask his colleague to stop talking to him. Two other guests, who were queuing behind us, were approached and asked to go to a third desk to be checked in. Once we got the attention of the receptionist, there was no apology for the delay. We were asked for our documents, they were taken away to be copied, the two colleagues restarted their conversation by the copier. When they returned with the documents, again there was no apology for the delay. We were further asked if we would prefer a room with a bath or a shower, we chose a room with a shower. It was 15:30h and the receptionist rang house keeping to ask of they had a room with a shower ready. While this ridiculous situation continued, 3 other guests were checked in and heading to their rooms.
