The canals are literally a few minutes’ walk, but you’re not dealing with the noise and crowds right outside your window.

The room I stayed in felt more like a well-appointed studio than a standard hotel space. There’s actual personality here — the design choices feel intentional rather than just “let’s make it look expensive.” What really impressed me was the attention to practical details. Good lighting where you need it, enough outlets, and storage that actually makes sense for how people travel these days.

Neighborhood Discoveries

You know what’s great about staying here? The morning walk to grab coffee becomes this little adventure through residential Milan. There’s a restaurant around the corner that I stumbled across — completely local, no English menu, exactly the kind of place you hope to find. The four-star rating feels right because everything works well without feeling overly polished or stuffy.

  Good location; easy to find. We were busy in Milan so didn’t spend a lot of time in the apartment; so didn’t use the kitchen for cooking.

  It was well appointed and the location was excellent being generally walking distance to city central and the canals and access to tram if not wanting to walk too far.

  Elegant building, underground secure parking much appreciated. Apartment is comfortable with effective air conditioning. Very fast internet. Entry instructions are a bit complicated with warnings about inadvertently setting off the condominium alarms (!) but we worked everything out. Location is good – walking distance to the Navigli area with lots of bars and restaurants, and the tram to the city centre runs up the adjacent main road (you can do a touchless pay with your credit card on the tram).
  
  What could be improved: The apartment could do with a bit of renovation, especially in the shower, but it was still OK.
