You know what I really liked about this area? It feels like actual Milan, not tourist Milan. Via Principe Eugenio runs through Porta Garibaldi, which honestly has become one of my favorite districts over the years. You’re close enough to the business district that you can walk to Corso Como in about fifteen minutes, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the constant buzz of central tourist spots. There are local cafés where people actually live and work nearby, and the morning routine feels authentic rather than performative.

The Studio Space

The room — well, studio really — surprised me with how thoughtfully it’s laid out. I mean, it’s not huge, but whoever designed this understood how to make a small space work. The kitchenette is tucked into one corner without feeling cramped, and there’s actually counter space to prep a proper breakfast or simple dinner. The sleeping area flows naturally into a small living space, and they’ve managed to include storage that doesn’t feel like an afterthought.

Practical Details

Here’s where things get a bit mixed, and I want to be straight about it. The building doesn’t have its own parking, which in Milan honestly isn’t unusual, but it’s worth knowing upfront. Street parking exists but requires some patience — typical for this part of the city. What works better is that Porta Garibaldi station is a reasonable walk away, so if you’re planning to explore Milan by metro, you’re actually well positioned.

Why Guests Love It

The 7.4 rating makes sense when you consider what this place actually offers versus what it promises. It’s not trying to be a five-star experience, and that’s actually its strength. People seem to appreciate the honest approach — a clean, functional studio in a genuinely Milanese neighborhood at a price that doesn’t make you wince. The kitchenette means you can grab groceries from the local market and save money on meals, which honestly makes a difference when you’re staying in Milan for more than a couple nights.   Al nostro arrivo la stanza non si presentava pulita , il letto era già stato usato e le lenzuola erano tutte stropicciate. Mancavano totalmente i saponi , il bidet aveva parte del rubinetto rotto .
  
  What could be improved: Il servizio . Quando abbiamo chiesto le lenzuola pulite abbiamo dovuto aiutare il ragazzo a rifare il letto . Ci ha portato anche il sapone (1) comprato al momento .
