Residence Milly San Siro – Rho Fiera Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Residence Milly San Siro – Rho Fiera, you immediately get that feeling of stumbling onto something locals know about but tourists haven’t quite discovered yet. It’s tucked away on a quiet residential street in San Siro, and honestly, that’s part of its charm — you’re staying in a real Milan neighborhood, not some touristy bubble. The building itself has that understated Italian elegance that doesn’t scream for attention but somehow feels more authentic than the flashy places downtown.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re actually living like a Milanese person for a few days. San Siro isn’t just about the famous stadium (though that’s pretty cool if you’re into football), it’s a proper residential area with local cafes and shops that close for lunch like they should. The metro connections are solid, and you know what? Sometimes it’s nice to come home to a quiet street after a day of navigating the chaos around Duomo. Recent guests have been rating the location really highly, and I get why — it strikes that perfect balance between accessible and peaceful.

The Apartment Experience

This four-star residence operates more like serviced apartments than a traditional hotel, which means you get way more space than you’d expect. Each apartment feels like someone’s actual home — there’s a proper kitchen where you can make morning coffee the way you like it, and the living areas don’t feel like they were designed by a committee. I mean, after a few days of hotel rooms, having a place where you can spread out and actually unpack feels like such a treat. The furnishings are modern but not sterile, and there’s enough storage that you’re not living out of a suitcase.

Practical Comforts

What really won me over were the little things that show someone actually thought about how people live. The parking situation is sorted, which anyone who’s tried to drive in Milan will appreciate. The wifi works properly throughout the space — not just in one corner of the room like some places. And the fact that you can grab groceries and cook a simple meal means you’re not forced to eat out every single night, which your wallet will definitely thank you for. It’s these practical touches that make a longer stay actually comfortable rather than just manageable.

Why Guests Love It

Couples seem to really connect with this place, and I think it’s because it gives you that sense of playing house in Milan for a while. You’re not just passing through — you’re temporarily living there. The neighborhood has enough character that evening walks feel like discoveries, and the space itself is designed for two people who actually want to spend time together, not just crash between sightseeing sessions. Plus, when you tell people you stayed in San Siro, you get to feel a bit smug about knowing a different side of the city. It’s not the most obvious choice, but sometimes the best experiences come from places that don’t try too hard to impress.

  • Positif – Dounia from Algeria – 26 February 2025 (9/10)

  • Very bad stay due to the building renovation and warm – Marie from France – 8 August 2024 (3/10)

The parcs around for the dog .
The owner expresses her desolation for all
The inconvenience but we were all ready in the apartment

What could be improved: Owner should precise that the building is under renovation from outside. Fortunately it was a weekend, but Monday before we wake early when the workers start. All around windows and balcony there is no light, no air because of the chantier. The apartment was very hot. 2 small ventilators doing nothing .
A lot of mosquitos inside, outside, everywhere

  • Exceptional – Aliaksandr from Belarus – 17 June 2024 (10/10)

Absolutely lovely lady owns this place, big apartment for family, full equipment, 10 mins from metro

  • Exceptional – Francoise from United Kingdom – 14 May 2024 (10/10)

The flat was really clean and the kitchen well equipped for cooking after a busy day in Milan 🙂
Cosy flat with very comfortable beds. The location is perfect for parking and travelling to central Milan or reach the motorway. Very friendly and caring owner who was always available for any question. I wish I could stay longer than one night. Grazie

  • Very disappointing stay – Aj from United Kingdom – 7 May 2024 (3/10)

20 min walk from the San Siro Stadium and metro station. Bus stop just a few minutes away. The host was friendly, welcoming. She picked us up from the metro station for free. After our complaints she offered us a discount so we didn’t have to pay €20 city tax.

What could be improved: In our opinion this property should not be rented before addressing/fixing a few issues.
The french door to the balcony should be fixed as not closing properly at the moment. With the scaffolding outside it was not secure enough to leave our belongings in the flat (it would be easy to get into the flat by just pushing the door open from the outside, even if locked). BTW- It should have been mentioned that the balcony is out of use due to external work being done.
Mattresses were very uncomfortable, specially on single bed and on the sofa bed so would advise to get them replaced!
Wardrobe- sliding door to be fixed/fitted as standing on the side of the wardrobe.
Bathroom to be renovated completely as shower panel broken and neither of the sides are securely attached to the bath. Bath tub should be removed/replaced to see what’s underneath as ants were crawling into the bathroom from underneath the bath!! Silicone around the bath- moulded and in the laundry basket we found someone’s clothes!!
Boxes of tiles, adhesive removed from the doorway for easy access.
Proper cleaning between guests would be necessary as stains found in the bathroom and kitchenware.
