Plus, you’ll find a couple of decent cafés within a block or two for your morning espresso.

The Space Itself

The room setup is straightforward — think modern apartment-style accommodation rather than traditional hotel luxury. You get a proper kitchenette (which actually comes in handy for breakfast or late-night snacks), and the space feels more lived-in than sterile. The furnishing is clean and functional, maybe not Instagram-perfect, but comfortable enough for a three-star place. Air conditioning works well, which you’ll appreciate during Milan’s sticky summers.

Getting Around Milan

Here’s something practical — getting to the city center isn’t complicated from here, though it’s not like you’re steps from the Duomo either. The metro connection involves a bit of walking or a quick tram ride, but honestly, I found myself staying in Navigli most evenings anyway. If you’re planning day trips to see the main sights, just factor in maybe 20-30 minutes of travel time. Parking can be tricky in this area if you’re driving, so I’d recommend checking with them first.

What works here is the balance — you’re not paying five-star prices, but you’re staying in one of Milan’s coolest districts with actual character.   It was really easy to find the keys, the place was clean and spacious. The apartment is well-connected and there are plenty of places to go out for food and drinks nearby.

  Great location just 2 mins walk from train station, there are many food options just outside of the apartment which also leads to some noise pollution. The apartment is large with living area and small kitchen. There was also airconing. The smart TV is equipped with Netflix YouTube etc.
  
  What could be improved: As there was ongoing construction around us during this time, construction started early in the morning around 730am. Till late night, we can also hear restaurant sounds, but this was acceptable. The collection of key is situated across the bridge which makes it a little inconvenient, prefer to have it on the same side of the street as the apartment.

  Easy access, clean apartment, decent kitchen facilities, comfortable bed. No electric kettle though – something to consider! Good for a short stay – a night or two.
  
  What could be improved: Paper thin walls. Extremely noisy neighborhood – loud music playing from the bars and cafes nearby up until 2 am. Loud noises and voices could be heard from outside even at a late hour. That’s a major downside.
  
  Uncomfortable stairs leading to the second floor. The stairs are steep and have no banisters making it tricky to go up or down.

  I liked how clean it was – the floors and bathroom were spick and span and had reasonable space for two girls with lots of luggage. It was also close from a metro station.
  
  What could be improved: First of all – the circulation of the warm air was not working well. We slept upstairs, where the air was super hot and dry, and downstairs, where we got ready, and I did some work, was quite chilly. The other problem was wifi, which was constantly unstable during our stay. The accommodation is located on a vibrant street with bars and restaurants, so we could sometimes hear noises from outside. They also didn't have many items to cook, so I would not recommend this place for a long stay.

  Super clean, really nice organised room with everything we needed. Very good localisation (10 minutes to centre using metro). Just perfect for 2. The bed was very very comfortable.

  The location is nice as you appear to be in the center of restaurants and a flea market. The flat is good, looks very clean and fresh.
  
  What could be improved: There are some minor things that made me put 8 instead of 10:
  I personally felt the lack of kettle for a winter period. Also you hear the sound of other people leaving upstairs. And finally finally the bathroom has a big opened window that makes really cold to have a shower. The floor is super cold and there are no any carpets, bug if would be a plus, not a must have
