The building itself has that understated Milanese elegance you see throughout the Navigli district.

The Space

The apartment lives up to its “spazioso” name — it’s genuinely spacious, not the cramped quarters you sometimes get with city accommodations. What really sold me was stepping into that room and seeing how much natural light floods in through the windows. The terrace (terrazzo) is the real showstopper though — you can actually have your morning coffee out there while watching the neighborhood wake up. The kitchen is fully equipped, which I mean, if you’re staying near the Navigli, you’ll probably want to grab fresh ingredients from the local markets.

Location & Neighborhood

You’re walking distance from both the famous Navigli canals and Bocconi University, so there’s this interesting mix of students, locals, and tourists that keeps the area lively without feeling touristy. The aperitivo scene along the canals is just a few minutes’ walk — and trust me, that’s where you want to be around 6 PM. What’s great is that you can easily reach the city center by tram, but you’re far enough out that you get a real feel for how Milanese people actually live.

Daily Life Here

Mornings are quiet enough that you’ll actually hear birds from the terrace, but by evening the neighborhood comes alive in the best way. There’s a good mix of traditional trattorias and newer spots within walking distance — the kind of variety that means you won’t get bored even on a longer stay. I noticed there’s decent parking options nearby too, which honestly can be a nightmare in other parts of Milan. The apartment feels like a proper home base rather than just somewhere to sleep.

Why Guests Love It

That 9.7 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve stayed here — it’s the combination of space, location, and that terrace that really sets it apart.   The balcony is perfect . Lovely to sit out and eat breakfast or to relax with a wine after a long day sightseeing. The hot tub is a great touch .

  This property really stands out because of the outdoor space, the great communication with the owner, and the level of care and upkeep of the unit itself. As an STR owner myself, I truly appreciate the effort and attention to detail shown by the owner who was also always responsive, kind, and helpful with all my questions. The outdoor space was amazing after a busy day touring Milan, a little oasis from the crowds. Loved eating dinner together at the large patio table, using the hot tub, or relaxing on the comfy patio couch. Truly one of my favorite stays.
  
  What could be improved: Everything was very clean and in great condition, so I have no complaints. Only suggestion might be a few more kitchen items (larger cutting knife), but overall we had everything we needed to cook a light dinner at home.

  Close to the tram. Plenty of local cafes and shops. Flat was well equipped and spacious. Very clean and although it rained when we were there the terrace looked lovely. Host was super helpful. We were arriving in Milan earlier than checkin but the host was happy for us to drop out bags so we could go off and explore.
